At the beginning was a message that's it's OK to sass your parents, and Mom just shrug it off.

Of course out of a country of 300+ million you're going to have some bigoted, racist individuals. Fact is, you'll have racists and bigots anywhere you go, even places that are supposedly more "tolerant" than the USA. But like I said, the media needs its controversies and the public feeds off of drama. Blind racism is drama par excellence. Social media has turned reality itself into a gigantic f'ing TV show.

Yep, I liked The Radio Shack ad that featured celebs from the 80's, The Audi-Doberhuahua ad ( ) , The Budweiser/A Hero's Welcome ad,
Terry Crews and the Muppets, and The Doritos Time Machine.

I was back and forth between rooms, so I didn't see that many ads. Most of
them seem to be rather dull with a few that stand out. Cheerios? Already
buy 'em. I caught the Coke ad. Started off like one of those we're just a
super great country and then went with the different languages. Same bs,
different vocabulary. Didn't see the Scientology ad. Is that the one where
the snake jumps out of the mailbox?
They deserve it. (The company, not the people.) They had a good niche, but then decided they just wanted to sell phones and contracts so the stores inventory of actual electronics went to nothing. No point of even stepping in there now, plus they were horrible to their employee's and got rid of the ones that were too expensive because they actually knew something. Now it's like, "Where are your resistors?" -- Uh... what's resistor? Wouldn't you rather have a shiny new phone?
Radio Shack used to sell a decent line of home electronics. Note I said "used to". Their products, to me, really went downhill over the years. My biggest gripe was the wiring in their components; it seemed the wires would break under the insulation at point of entry of a speaker, power supply, headphones, or microphones.
Using a volt/ohmmeter, I could usually find the problem and repair it, but it seemed like every time I turned around, I was repairing something....
so I had a choice to make; stop turning around or stop buying. I stopped buying.
According to wingnut fundie Rick Joyner, God does pick SB winners (not sure about whether it's against the spread or straight up) but he got it wrong in saying the Carolina Panthers would triumph. Maybe it's really Satan whispering in Joyner's ear.
So, maybe the upset was divine intervention on behalf of CO's stand for freedom, beneficial economics and sane public policy. Or, maybe S/He just picked the less self-congratulatory, faith-promoting Christian QB.

Didn't bother watching it all the way through. Faulty premise - the Nazis are the ones that want Big Brother to be their surrogate on doctors' backs and in women's wombs. Plus, that same scene has been used for several other issues, with different subtitles. Boring and uncreative.
Also, Godwin's Law = Automatic loser.
I thought the ad was funny until the end, which I think is creepy.
