Hobby Fall-Out

Generally an unmoderated forum for discussion of pretty much any topic. The focus however, is usually politics.

Justice Department sues Hobby Lobby over thousands of looted Iraqi artifacts it bought

Posing with guns and holy books and dictating religion aren't the only Hobby Lobby connections to ISIS territory.

Speaking of Hobby Lobby, did anyone see the double-page religious ad they had on the 4th? I don't know where all it was run, but it was in the AC-T as well as the Seattle Times, so I'm guessing they put it in a bunch of places.

As long as they're still Christian misogynists, they're still "moral", right?

What's a double-page ad? ;)

On those ancient and rapidly-becoming-obsolete papyrus-like relics, commonly called a "newspaper," if you open it up you can see two pages at once. A two-page ad covers the entire view. I don't know the cost in the AC-T, but you'd be looking well into 5 figures in the Seattle Times ($365/ column inch, black/white) . And if they ran it in, say, Miami Herald, WaPo, LATimes, SF Chronicle, etc., they could easily blow several hundred thousand dollars. Probably more than enough to fund a better health plan for their employees.
