President* Trump

Generally an unmoderated forum for discussion of pretty much any topic. The focus however, is usually politics.

Since I considered Comey a sleazy asshole about Hillary's emails during the campaign, I will still officially consider him a sleazy asshole now. Having said that, I don't think he actually lied in either instance, but was just playing politics. Maybe he still is.

Word on the internet street is he was more or less forced to tell the world about the emails a few weeks prior to the election, otherwise the info would've been leaked anyway making him and FBI appear to be doing Hillary a favor and possibly colluding with her and the "establishment" to crush Trump.

This would've made the FBI to appear corrupt, given Trump more ammunition to support his anti-estsblishment rhetoric and claims that it's out to crush him, and would've possibly harmed FBI credibility for some. Any subsequent Russia-Trump investigations would've been sullied by the publics perceived FBI corruption.

I'm not sure what his goals are, but few or zero people have managed to piss off all sides to the extent that Comey has.

I still can't figure out why he wasn't arrested or something for interfering with the election

But it took less than 48 hours to fully check all emails. It could have been done before the date he wrote the letter

Comey is an opportunistic tool, trying to play both ends against the (non-existent) middle and extend his 15 minutes. He is his own worst enemy. So, use him to wring all the anti-trumphole ammo you can from him, then toss him out like a used condom.

Depends on what you think of our electing President* Trump. :P

Not that I agree a bit with Comey's choice, but he said that it was his duty to immediately report all investigation developments to the congressional committee. That would probably be a sufficient defense in a trial.

I just read that President* Trump will ask Kellyanne Conway's husband to head up the Civil division of the Justice Dept. I wonder if he's as stupid and crazy as his wife is. No, wait a minute; I am certain that he's as stupid and crazy as his wife is.

Latest Trump Tweet:

Just heard Fake News CNN is doing polls again despite the fact that their election polls were a WAY OFF disaster. Much higher ratings at Fox
The polls predicted that Hillary would have a 2-4% national margin. She had a 2.1%, nearly 3 million vote margin and Trump only won with a total lead of 80K votes, within the polls' margin of error, in a handful of key states.

Also, much higher news ratings at ABC, NBC and CBS than at Faux Noise, and Faux Noise polls show that President* Trump's approval rating is as dismal as CNN's do.

President* Trump is a dishonest, deflecting pansy when reality doesn't go his way.

Trump touts poll showing decline in approval rating

President Trump punched Monday at one poll of his approval ratings while touting another. But the latter poll, by Fox News, showed him with a steadily declining performance rate....

Though Trump’s Nov. 8 election victory stunned prediction models, CNN’s final poll of the race was not far off the national margin. A CNN/ORC poll conducted two weeks before the election found Hillary Clinton 5 points ahead of Trump. She eventually won the popular vote by about 3 points, while losing the Electoral College.

At the time he could deny it. "Just doing his job" and all that.

But now we know that he had a criminal investigation into Trump's campaign. So why announce the investigation into Hillary's campaign and not Trump's.

Because, he would say, there was an existing congressional investigation into Hillary that he had a duty to update. Still not taking his side, but that's the spin.

Point made today by Eric Lipton, NYT on Democracy Now!, paraphrased, I don't know if it's accurate: We know that the FBI was investigating the Russian manipulation of the election through the Fall, but we don't yet know when the criminal investigation into the Trump campaign/transition complicity with the Russians began. It could have been after Comey sabotaged Hillary and even after the election.

"When anyone criticizes the honesty or integrity or motives of a federal judge, I find that disheartening and demoralizing."
- Judge Neil Gorsuch, at a confirmation hearing this week

"Somebody said I should not criticize judges. Okay, I'll criticize judges."

A teen made a website where kittens punch Trump. So, Trump unleashed his lawyers.
Predictably, Trump's lawyers letter had the opposite effect of their intention. After The Observer published the report yesterday, the site's visitors surged from 3,000 to 50,000.
He's probably too goddam stupid to understand why people call him trumplethinskin.

Saw that. I looked but couldn't find either Kittenfeed.com or TRUMPCAT. Did the CiC (Crybaby in Chief) win?

Funny: The current link to a new article under your article is "Robotic glove lets people with limited hand mobility perform daily tasks". Does that include tiny President* Trump hands?

In his case, tiny hands might be more useful for some of his "daily tasks."
