Presidents* Trump & Putin bromance

Generally an unmoderated forum for discussion of pretty much any topic. The focus however, is usually politics.

The petition to House Speaker Paul Ryan and House Republican leadership reads:

“The independence of Rep. Devin Nunes – Donald Trump’s lapdog – as chair of the House Intelligence Committee is compromised. You must remove him from his position and help ensure an independent and transparent investigation of all credible allegations concerning the relationships between Donald Trump and the Russian government.”

The whole damn repug congress is in open treason, as far as I am concerned. I'm beginning to wish the military would begin to put pressure on them. But, of course, many of the most oo-rah boys are trumphole men . . . .

Donnie Moscow has been tweeting a lot about the "failing" NY Times lately. Must be some good stuff relating to Trump. Guess it's time to go check them out!

One of the arguments i was told for Trump over Clinton was Trump didn't have any blood on his hands, while Clinton did (drone strikes, Libya, etc..).

Silence.

Meanwhile Trump was demanding the resumption of torture, tracking down and killing the *families* of terrorists, invading countries to "take the oil", etc. etc..

No, he has a point:
“No reasonable person, who has the benefit of advice from counsel, would submit to questioning in such a highly politicized, witch hunt environment without assurances against unfair prosecution," he added.
Just ask those who were jailed, almost jailed or financially ruined for not merely parroting Republicans' accusations against Bill Clinton in the Whitewater probe.

Republicans' greatest fear is that someone will do unto them as they do unto others.

Who says that petitions don't work?

Obama warned Trump against Flynn as national security adviser: ex-official

"Obama was correct," is something that Trump and his Trumpettes will never have the stones to admit.

Comey may get chance to publicly defend name against Trump

Not that I'm a Comey fan, but if it happens I predict that he will rip Trump to shreds and that the vast majority of the FBI and intelligence community will back him up. There is no inconsistency between disliking Comey and knowing that his firing now is part of a coverup.
