My warmest condolences. The mass shooting(s) thread

Generally an unmoderated forum for discussion of pretty much any topic. The focus however, is usually politics.

My warmest condolences. The mass shooting(s) thread

Unread post by billy.pilgrim »

His response to this may have been the most disgusting thing he has ever said. This man completely lacks understanding of "others". He thinks of himself as some sort of gift to humanity, not as part of humanity.

At least the guy in stage had a heartfelt response.

"Tonight has been beyond horrific. I still don’t know what to say but wanted to let everyone know that me and my crew are safe. My thoughts and prayers go out to everyone involved tonight. It hurts my heart that this would happen to anyone who was just coming out to enjoy what should have been a fun night,” Aldean wrote, adding the hashtags #heartbroken and #stopthehate."

Is this the new way for the disgruntled to go out?

I have long believed him to be a sick man, but these warmest wishes is the straw that kicked me into all-out believer status. He is an insane sociopath and has to be impeached before he destroys our country.

Assuming that banni's tweet board stays current, which I think it does, someone told him to stay the fuck of of Twitter today after that one.

Evidently, banni's tweet board doesn't stay very current, the lag time is 3 hours or more.

He continues his run to be the most despicable person in the world

"I hate to tell you, Puerto Rico, you’ve thrown our budget a little out of whack,” President Trump remarked at a press conference Tuesday near San Juan, “because we’ve spent a lot of money on Puerto Rico.” He continued: “And that’s fine, because we’ve saved a lot of lives” in the wake of Hurricane Maria. He then suggested Puerto Ricans should be happy because their death toll pales in comparison to other recent disasters. “If you look at a real catastrophe like Katrina,"

He tells people who have lost everything to look at a real disaster and be happy.

Busted -- currently porting the "Trump Tweeter" from Python to C# (dotnet core running on linux), so it is running behind!

Just set the update process to run every ten minutes now, but also just realized I'm not terminating the process after it's finished. If it runs out of memory tomorrow and takes the server down, well, I know why.

//EDIT: That made me a bit nervous, so fixed while in bed watching Game of Thrones. :geek:

False flag. The real shooters killed him and left before the cops arrived.
What is with these people? As disgusting as our government can be, how can these idiots believe everything is a government plot? I simply cannot wrap my brain around their thinking.

The world has gone mad.

"The real shooters" were also using a "belt fed" machine gun, and Paddock was a liberal. The internet told me so.

Yeah, I thought of making the comparison to the Wounded Knee Massacre, but settled on a Christian massacre of Muslims as being more apt for a Dolt .45 post.

Besides, Indian casinos have massacred Dolt .45 casinos. ;)

Is it starting to make sense to wear protective vests etc to large events?

I'm guessing it's a little early, but give this hate a few more years and you'll see more than cops wearing vests to the grocery.

I wouldn't know, but some talking head said that vests are primarily designed for handguns, not the rounds that Paddock used.

If your concerns prove true, I just won't go. I can't imagine enjoying many events that I'm worried enough to wear a vest to.

It's time to stop going to events with a crowd. Unless they're indoors with a strictly enforced no-guns policy, like CPAC or the Republican National Convention.

Four Canadian tourists dead in this shooting, and six more wounded. In a city that depends on tourism.
