Trump’s top Hill aide leaving White House amid Supreme Court battle
Marc Short, Trump’s director of legislative affairs, is leaving later this month to join a D.C. consulting firm and teach at UVA.

President Donald Trump’s legislative affairs director is heading for the exits just as the White House gears up for a major Supreme Court nomination battle and approaches a daunting midterm election landscape.

Marc Short, one of the administration’s longest-serving senior aides and a frequent spokesperson for the president on television, is planning to depart by July 20, according to a person familiar with the plans....

Short is among a large cadre of senior White House staff members to leave before the president’s two-year mark, as Trump’s White House has seen an unprecedented level of staff turnover. Already, Trump has cycled through a chief of staff, deputy chief of staff, four communications directors, a press secretary, a chief strategist, two national security advisers and a number of midlevel aides.

"Jennifer Arangio, the former NSC senior director for international organisations and alliances, left her position this week, administration officials told multiple outlets. It was unclear whether she resigned or was forced out, though the departure reportedly came after months of tensions with immigration hard-liners in the White House."

To be fair, it's not like the Trump Administration* cares about national security. It also doesn't care about truth:

It's strange reading about former staffers turned critics like Omarosa. On the one hand, I have no particular reason to doubt what she's saying. Otoh, I have to agree with POSPOTUS that she's a "not smart, lowlife" . . . solely because she signed on with him in the first place. :D

Excellent book title. It will have a subtle effect even on those that never read it.

:wtf:

Recording: Omarosa offered $15,000 a month to be 'positive'

1) This again verifies one of her claims that the Trump Administration* has been calling lies.
2) Her strategy of trickling out accusations and verifying tapes is working brilliantly for her book and political goals.
3) It expands for me the list of complicit family members.
4) Campaign spending MUST be for something of value, and at its fair market value. There is no indication that she would have been hired to a real job.
5) Best of all, Trumpettes now know that their hard earned small dollar donations are going to pay for exorbitant hush money salaries for doing nothing.

Comment:
Art of the deal
I am guessing the 15K to be positive is now off the table.
I'LL BE POSITIVE FOR HALF THAT PER MONTH.
Now that you've saved $15k / month, let's have a Parade!
I get offered a $180K salary all the time to just not say negative things about someone. This isn't unusual at all.

Student loan watchdog quits: Trump admin 'turned its back on young people'

The U.S. government official overseeing the protection of student loan recipients from predatory lending practices resigned at the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) and wrote a scathing letter addressed to Mick Mulvaney, the bureau’s acting director.

As first reported by NPR, who obtained the letter, Seth Frotman asserted that Mulvaney’s leadership led the bureau to “[abandon] the very consumers it is tasked by Congress with protecting.”

The CFPB under Mulvaney’s leadership, Frotman wrote, “has turned its back on young people and their financial futures.”

The CFPB oversees financial practices that could potentially harm consumers.

“We protect consumers from unfair, deceptive, or abusive practices and take action against companies that break the law,” the bureau’s website reads.

Part of their protection oversight includes the $1.5 trillion student loan industry. Frotman’s loud resignation brings into question how seriously the government takes its responsibility to protect student borrowers.

Frotman accused Mulvaney of using “the Bureau to serve the wishes of the most powerful financial companies in America.” ...

I'm getting the feeling that by the end of Dolt 45's reign of buffoonery that the only ones left will be Ivanka, the Kellyanne woman and Huckleberry Hound (I'm assuming Jared will be indicted for something).

I wonder about Ivanka, Melania, too.
Kellyanne might as well, her husband will have left her.
SHS is rumored to be leaving after the first of the year.
Dolt .45's bald Nazi, Stephen Miller, might stick around . . . unless Dolt .45 wants to pretend to be a new man after the midterms.
