Wingnutties out of control!

Generally an unmoderated forum for discussion of pretty much any topic. The focus however, is usually politics.

My son told me about a rant he saw on Facebook. Seems the ranter threatened to never send any of his kids to ACLU if they continue to support Colin Kaepernick.

A couple years ago I would have called bs, but these days I'm not so sure

I didn't know ACLU knew anything about education; let alone had a school.

I don't think that the media has done a terrible job. There is historically low support for this tax bill.

We'll see what happens in reconciliation. Our best hope is that the House rightwingers are assholes, enough so that they either kill the bill on their own or that they make it so bad as to lose 2 more moderate GOP senators. Maybe I should write my rep, Freedom Caucus Chair Meadows, urging him to be an adamant wingnut. :D

Didn't go and mostly glad about my decision. The cold and rain and plumbing leak and insurance adjuster and dehumidifiers and fans and imagining listening to trump and all the adoring crazy idiots all contributed to my decision. The unimaginable bonus of not seeing my moron state senator introduce trump* as a hero for bringing about the end times destruction of the world makes me feel even better about not going.

There's some seriously looney people in this country. I'm sure they've always been around, but I'll admit I liked it better when they were still under rocks. Maybe that's how they think about gay people. Oh No! Did I just have a flash of empathy for the loons? Naaaaah.

Found:
This is simple: 1.) Roy Moore gets elected. 2.) GOP pushes Moore out of office. 3.) Seat is filled by Republican governor appointee. 4.) The end.
Does the GOP Senate have the stones for that and what would the repercussions be?

So much hate coming out. I visited the highest rated, most visited conservative forum in the universe to see some unbiased, totally factual political updates, and sure enough, an entire thread of people revelling in Lyndsey Vonns injury. Karmic retribution for insulting their daddy, president Trump.

Alabama Senate Special Election - Moore vs. Jones

Weird, the 3 most recent polls, 12/6 or 7 - 12/9 or 10, show:
FOX News - Jones +10
Emerson - Moore +9
Monmouth - Tie

billy.pilgrim, you're our Alabama expert, what's your guess? I'll predict Moore +3. I'm least certain about the extent to which Moore voters will abandon him in order to protect the state's economy.

The fox poll is shamelessly fake on two fronts
Outrage the right to get out the vote and
Next time there is a poll they don't like they can tell about the nameless poll that showed loser Jones up by 10.

I'm hoping Jones, but would bet on Toy Story Woody in a close race

Yee-haw!!!!!!!!!!
I was seriously pessimistic, and figured the single issue voters (abortion) would ensure Moore's win.
This is too delicious. The Pervert-in-Chief is also a loser. Wonder whom he'll blame?
