Wingnutties out of control!

Generally an unmoderated forum for discussion of pretty much any topic. The focus however, is usually politics.

Lordy, lordy, there is a congressman dumber than gomert.

https://youtu.be/ExMcJkCehzE

You can catch him at the link above explaining a constitutional republic - at the 2:28 mark. The rest from this body language expert you probably saw in TV highlights, but this was so embarrassing that his own colleague cut him off before he could go even dumber and it looks like the media is showing a little pity.

For more on this republican embarrassment

Dumber than gomert

Hey, he stayed at a Holiday inn express.

Resist Ivanka Trump and Marco Rubio's plan to cut Social Security

Petition to Congress:

“Pitting paid family leave against Social Security is a cruel false choice. Reject Marco Rubio’s plan to pay for paid family leave by cutting Social Security benefits and support the FAMILY Act instead."

Organization United for Respect (OUR)/OUR Walmart says:
The next Supreme Court judge will have a dramatic impact on our lives. Their opinion and how they vote on the Supreme Court will impact access to reproductive freedom, environmental safeguards, worker rights, immigrant and LGBTQ protections, and even the right to vote. The President's nominee, Brett Kavanaugh, has historically made decisions that negatively impact working people and take away our freedoms.

The President has targeted 5 Senators he’s trying to convince to vote his nominee in. Three Democratic U.S. Senators who voted in Neil Gorsuch, the President’s last appointee: Heidi Heitkamp of North Dakota, Joe Manchin of West Virginia, and Joe Donnelly of Indiana. And two Republican pro-choice Senators Lisa Murkowski of Alaska and Susan Collins of Maine.
They and POSPOTUS must be assuming that McCain won't vote, making the Senate 50-49 GOP. So, one GOP flip and the Dems staying solid keeps Kavanaugh out.

Flat earth convention in Edmonton. Loons. How do these people find their way to the tin-foil store? Not only do they "believe" Earth is flat, but they've got a big-time conspiracy theory of denied access to the big wall of arctic ice that surrounds "earth."

Random questions for flat-earthers:
So this disc - is it floating around in space or is it sitting on something else?
Where does the moon/sun go when it "sets"?
Does it spin?
If you flew from the bottom of South America to, say, the bottom of India, crossing the map on the needlepoint, but returned by continuing on the same direction and - "holy shit" - there's South America again in a lot fewer miles. Did you go through a time warp?
and yada...

What? No space force!
... Flat eartherism, already popular among a small set of conservative evangelicals, now crops up semi-regularly in forums for QAnon, an unhinged pro-Trump conspiracy that has led to multiple armed conflicts....
Figures.
... The Flat Earth Society is one of the best-known, apparently serious groups of people who claim Earth is not round, but a disk, maybe one covered with a dome....
What's on the bottom of the disc?

I couldn't get any of the article to copy or share, but the picture clearly shows an upside down mountain on the flip side.

I had that problem with the headline, but not the text. It's like MSN for me where I can't 'Command C' anything. After the longest time of being annoyed, years, I discovered that I can highlight and then 'Edit: Copy' just fine. Weird.

Kellyanne Conway Wanted To Criticize Her Husband -- But As An Anonymous Source

Kellyanne Conway, President Donald Trump’s chief counselor, found a unique way to let her husband know how she feels about his public bashing of her boss.

During an interview with Washington Post reporter Ben Terris, Conway complained that her husband’s recent tweets about Trump were “disrespectful” and possibly violated their “marital vows,” but insisted that she was speaking off the record. She asked Terris to be quoted as a “person familiar with their relationship” ― not as herself.

Terris, who was working on a story about their marriage, wouldn’t let her. He published their full exchange in the Post on Wednesday in a wild profile revealing how Conway’s job as Trump’s right-hand woman has affected her relationship with George Conway, a former Trump supporter who has become a vocal critic of the president on Twitter....
:wtf:
Comments:
Mr. Conway should be looking to trade up.
i wonder if she really is familiar with their relationship.
Maybe it's an 'alternative' relationship........
She asked Terris to be quoted as a “person familiar with their relationship” ― not as herself.

So a trumptard, who complains about anonymous sources, wanted to be an anonymous source.

Is hypocritical a description needed to work for this administration?
Jeez, can you imagine being married to such a nasty, self-centered, mean-spirited woman? Yikes!
LMAO, from the people who are always complaining about "Anonymous Sources" and leakers!
