The Global Warming thread.

Generally an unmoderated forum for discussion of pretty much any topic. The focus however, is usually politics.

WE DEMAND. Demand my ass! You frigging snowflakes think the political machine is going to come to a grinding halt and go in reverse because some lily ass group is petitioning and protesting? I can see them now, running shrieking away, and screaming "the snowflakes are demanding! The snowflakes are demanding! Run, hide! Oh whatever are we going to do? oh boo damn frigging hoo!"

I can see the Trumper now. God, get your ass down here and change this damn climate! The twinkies and snowflakes are getting on my nerves thinking that I am responsible for the icebergs melting. Idiots.

Just a jumpy, jerky, poor production video. A few well placed water cannons would calm down that shit in no time.

Glacier National Park used to have 150 glaciers. Now it has 26.

If you've never been to Glacier, go before you have to, horrors, visit Canada to see a Rocky Mountain glacier.

We'll be out there in August.
But really, is there any difference in Montana and Canada anyway?

Montana: guns
Canada: curling

More seriously, Canada's Banff & Jasper Parks are fantastic, too.

Lady O has skied Banff and Lake Louise, as well as well as Whistler. She refers to eastern mountains as bunny slopes.

AP FACT CHECK: Holes in Trump's reasoning on climate pullout

It's a template headline. "Holes in Trump's reasoning on ________" gets accurately used over and over.

What are you trying to say?

Very impressive, but I've seen some pretty rough typhoons in Asian waters. I wonder how those panels will hold up. Especially now that typhoons and hurricane strengths have increased dramatically over the last decade. (not that global warming or climate change plays any part in it)

It's built several hundred km inland, on a lake.
Located in the city of Huainan in the Anhui province, the 40-megawatt facility was created by PV inverter manufacturer Sungrow Power Supply Co. Ironically, the floating grid itself was constructed over a flooded former coal-mining region.
