Aint ya'll proud?????
Your golden boy's approval rating has dropped to 37%...yes thirty SEVEN percent. Why is that important....because Bush's all time low was just 36%..thirty SIX percent. Ya'll must be so proud to know that your perfect POTUS is about to tie the man that you all so vehemently hated for low approval.

Re: Aint ya'll proud?????
The topic is obama's plummet to approval ratings only ONE mere percentage point above Bush's and you libtards silence about it. Damn right, I'm proud of the GOP finally standing up against this administration. You idiot's problem is not only are you factually compromised you seem to have forgotten history as well. Can't wait to listen to your spin as to why it all went wrong next November. The run up to the mid-term is gonna be entertainment enough!!!!Vrede wrote:The actual topic is American attitude towards pols, you've lost track of your own thread. It's typical that Roland Deschain is deflecting from the rest of the story because he can't handle the facts it contains. Elections are a choice between 2 options so by that measure Obama's approval rating is irrelevant, both since he won't be running again and because the GOP is doing so very much worse than the Dems.
No, my pride in Obama is largely limited to the only comparisons available - Boehner/TP/GOP.
Now, answer your own question - "Aint ya'll (sic) proud" of your GOP????? Don't run away like you usually do.

Wouldn't you know that the wingnuts can't even get a simple poll
comparison number right? The Gallup poll has Obama at 43% approval
by the way. It's been around the mid forties for a while now.

Re: Aint ya'll proud?????
I wonder what Bush's approval rating would have been if the republicans shutdown the government on his watch?

Re: Aint ya'll proud?????
If Obama's approval rating was, say 30%, that would still be 6 TIMES the approval rating of the congressional TeaOP trash. This fucktard didn't understand percentages on the SHJ forum, either.

Re: Aint ya'll proud?????
I guess there's a bottom limit on how unpopular a president can be,
and Bush certainly flirted with it. I recall his final polls were some-
where in the mid 20s, not ten points higher. And no one has said
that Obama is perfect either.

Your math isn't very good. Bush's approval rating was 22% when he left office, the lowest in history. Most of the major polls put Obama's currently in the mid-40's.Roland Deschain wrote: The topic is obama's plummet to approval ratings only ONE mere percentage point above Bush's and you libtards silence about it. !

Keep digging...i bet you can even find one with higher numbers....However, in this case, I'd suggest finding data a little more recent as this is a VERY fluid situation. Might want to send your data to AP as they are the ones that published the numbers I'm using. I'm sure they would welcome your expertise.Vrede wrote:Then, there's this:
Obama hurt less than Boehner and McConnell, Reid not hurt much at all, and Pelosi's net unfavorable rating has improved! Of the bunch Obama is the only one that does not have a net unfavorable rating, with Boehner and McConnell having the highest net unfavorable ratings of all. McConnell has even achieved Shrub's all-time low, the real one not Roland Deschain's lie.
Roland Deschain should stick to spewing his uninformed opinions, every time he tries to assert facts he reveals how truly retarded he is.

Instead, Koch Industries wants Congress to focus on “balancing the budget” and “cutting government spending,” among other goals, said Philip Ellender, Koch Industries president for government and public affairs.
The letter comes in the wake of media reports documenting how Freedom Partners — a newly formed conservative trade association closely associated with the Koch brothers — has helped finance many of the conservative and Tea Party groups that have been pressuring Republicans to link defunding Obamacare to the passage of a continuing resolution to fund the government and extend the debt ceiling.
