None of the 3 miss State bs calls were confirmed on review - zero,

But not the point I was trying to make.

But for a bad break or two, we could have been undefeated after the miss state game. After that game, we were a different team - playing close against 2 supposedly easy wins and blowing the Tenn game with 3 stupid qb turnovers.
All 3 were below par for one reason only - stidham. He was good enough to have been drafted last year, looked good early on, but just played 3 lousy games.

He's hurt or could be having some just married personal problems. The wild overthrows make me think he hurt his shoulder, the stupid pass attempts make me think he has some sort of personal problems.

The season ain't over.
Opps, my shorthand was unclear - didn't disagree WITH YOU about the field calls.

Just commenting on and agreeing with you about the results of the subsequent games. You know more about the possible reasons for it than I do. Do physical injuries have to be made public? You earlier mentioned other team injuries. Cumulative impact making Stidham look bad?

in the tenn game he kept overthrowing his favorite receiver and all 3 turnovers were stupid shit you stop doing in high school. Could be just panic that he's not looking good and wishing he had left for the nfl.

they wouldn't have to disclose an injury. maybe just enough of a bruise that it throws him off on the long passes.

we'll see. college teams often ride on one player. I'm not sure what we have without Stidham.

Our true freshman steedster is starting to show himself, but the run doesn't work without a passing game. Yep, we have a black guy named Anthony Schwartz.

You've got a Senior QB, Devin Adams, but he's only been in two games and attempted two passes. Must suck.

You've got a Fr QB, Cord Sandberg, but he's only been in one game and attempted one pass. Must be raw.

You've got a Soph QB, Wil Appleton, and a Fr QB, Joey Gatewood, never played. Must be raw.

I guess your backup QB is Soph Malik Willis, decent stats. We'll see. Woulda saved me some time if his last name began with an 'A' rather than a 'W'. :D

6 QBs? Sheesh.

Congrats! Not dominating stats by Stidham, but who needs them when you've got Whitlow to hand the ball to? 19 for 170 yds, 8.9 average.

@Temple -3.5 vs undefeated #20 Cincinnati. Knock it out of the top 25. Hah, I’d given up on Temple, but it came alive with 49 seconds left, forced OT and both won and beat the spread!
Maryland +10 vs @#19 Iowa. Try to not suck. Ick, and I lost $25 on a side bet.
#6 Michigan -7.5 vs @#24 Michigan St. Hope for the playoffs. Yep.
@TCU (ugh) +8 vs #9 Oklahoma. Knock it out of the top 10. Nope.
Undefeated #16 N.C. State +16.5 vs @#3 Clemson. Crush the poser.
@#15 Washington -15.5 vs Colorado. Slim hope for the playoffs, but possible.
@#5 LSU -7 vs #22 Mississippi St. Geaux Tigers.
Undefeated #10 UCF -21 vs @East Carolina. 19-0!
Undefeated @#21 South Florida -34 vs Connecticut. South Florida hasn't won by that margin all season, but Connecticut has lost by that much a few times.
#12 Oregon +3 vs @#25 Washington St. Oregon was favored by 1.5 on Monday. Slim hope for the playoffs, but possible.

I hope he's okay. He was headed for a td in the 3rd when it looked like he pulled a hamstring and dove for the sideline.
Stidham looked pretty good. The game plan was to run. He also had two pretty TD passes dropped.

Loved it! I’m not a Purdue fan, but that whooping it put on OH St is a thing of beauty! I was worried that there wouldn’t be any upsets, but this alone makes it a good week.

Undefeated #10 UCF -21 vs @East Carolina. 19-0! UCF is 20-0, and has scored 30 points or more 20 games in a row! I know the arguments for keeping mid-majors out of the playoffs, but it did beat Auburn in a Bowl and it might start getting a little embarrassing for the selection committee to deny it.
Undefeated @#21 South Florida -34 vs Connecticut. South Florida hasn't won by that margin all season, but Connecticut has lost by that much a few times. South Florida is still undefeated, but Vegas sure got the spread wrong. Good on CT for making it a game.
#12 Oregon +3 vs @#25 Washington St. Oregon was favored by 1.5 on Monday. Slim hope for the playoffs, but possible. I thought Oregon was going to pull off a comeback, but it wasn’t to be. Washington St sure is a surprise this year - PAC 12 champ?

He joined in 2012. He won the pool in 2013, 2015 and 2017. In even years he didn't break even. This year he's got the worst season score and has made back less than half of his entry fee. Weird huh?

AP Rankings
http://scores.nbcsports.com/cfb/polls.asp

#1 Alabama has beaten #16 Texas A&M, no other ranked teams. GO LSU!
#2 Clemson barely beat #16 Texas A&M AND trounced #22 North Carolina State. Seems superior to Alabama to me. Go (ugh) Florida State.
#3 Notre Dame has beaten #5 Michigan and #24 Stanford. Seems superior to Alabama and Clemson to me. Sink Navy!
#4 LSU has only lost to #9 Florida. The loser of its AL game better drop out of playoff position.
There are several Power 5 teams that have only lost one game to a top 12 team, including #22 North Carolina State. Plus, there’s undefeated #10 UCF and #21 South Florida. Tough to sort between them, but I’m not sure why losers to unranked teams, #6 Texas and #11 Ohio State, are ranked as high as they are.
