18 point spread? That's embarrassing. WDE.
stranger things have happened, but the bad news in that QB is out for the season and Bubba is out next week.

On a lighter note, watch the quick hands of big Montravius last Sat. 2nd interception for the big boy, but the 1st caught after bouncing off the QB's helmet

for Sat

Has the backup QB gotten any playing time this year and is he any good?

back up QB was 1st string early last year. he is a senior and can throw the ball to forever, but the ball somehow goes to the wrong team. He had a real good game Saturday against a much lower level team. No telling what he will do on Sat, but he will start.

other QB is juco transfer that we thought would be 1st this year. He can run but passing is poor.

RB was first string until he got hurt and we found Bubba. He is probable about 80% and has been playing backup past few games.

There are also a couple of freshmen who seem to have stepped up, but Sat the will be playing bammer so who knows what they will do.

It ain't a game to go to hurt

Aren't they all Bubbas? ;) Kidding, I see that he's an OL.
Got a Montravius INT link?

Sorry, thought I included it.

Bubba is what the team calls Kamryn Pettway and this says he may be back.

NIce INT.

Ah, there's also hometown boy Bubba Dowdell.
... Pettway, whose 1,106 yards ranks second in the SEC despite missing three games and not getting a carry in the season opener ...
Wow.

Could be worse than having a senior backup QB.

I thought I was gonna miss all the games, but family canceled our plans in order to help out other family. Could be worse.

We had a lot of hope for Jeremy. He's 6' 5' and 240, if he would just stop passing to the guy in triple coverage.

... I completely take back my disappointment over Louisville's loss to Houston, looks like it helped Washington more than anyone else.

Don't give up, Ms. O Really. Either Ohio State or Michigan will knock the other one out Saturday. Washington would seem to be the natural to get the spot if it beats Washington St. Saturday then either CO or USC in the Pac 12 Championship. It's great that Washington St., CO and USC are all ranked. That will strengthen Washington's case.

If CO wins the Pac 12 Championship it might shock everyone and sneak in, but other things would have to break in its favor.
If 3 loss USC wins the Pac 12 Championship, it probably skunks the Pac 12 and may put the Big 12 in the playoffs.

Oklahoma has a case if it beats Oklahoma State Saturday, regardless, but it's got those two losses (Houston & Ohio State).

If Florida beats Alabama in the SEC Championship it's great for me, WA and many others, but I'm not sure what that will do to the playoffs. Alabama could still be in.

If Virginia Tech (most likely) or UNC beats Clemson in the ACC Championship it's great for me, WA and many others, but I'm not sure what that will do to the playoffs. Clemson could still be in.

If WI wins the Big 10 Championship over either Michigan or PSU (division tiebreaker over Ohio State), things get really messy. Two Big 10 teams in the playoffs is possible.
Playoff Selection Committee Poll

1 Alabama (11-0)
2 Ohio State (10-1)
3 Michigan (10-1)
4 Clemson (10-1)
5 Washington (10-1)
6 Wisconsin (9-2)
7 Penn State (9-2)
8 Oklahoma (9-2)
9 Colorado (9-2)
10 Oklahoma State (9-2)
11 Louisville (9-2)
12 USC (8-3)
13 Auburn (8-3)
14 Florida State (8-3)
15 Florida (8-2)
19 Boise State (10-1)
20 Houston (9-2)
21 Western Michigan (11-0)
22 Utah (8-3)
23 Washington State (8-3)

Excellent. If Washington beats Washington St. Saturday they've got to put it in the playoffs when Ohio State or Michigan knocks the other one out. Could be 4th seed, thus getting AL in the semis, ugh.

Go N.C. State +11.5 vs. N. Carolina. I don't really care, just a better pick with what I'd like to see happen to their opponents' strengths of schedule.
Go Iowa -3, knock #17 Nebraska out of the top 25.
Go Huskies!
Go #20 Boise St. -9, shoot down Air Force
Go #14 W. Michigan -9 vs.Toledo, undefeated baby.
Go #3 Michigan +6.5 vs. #2 Ohio St.!
Go Miami (FL) -15 vs. Dook.
Go Michigan St. +12.5, knock #8 Penn St. out of the top 10.
Go #5 Wisconsin -14.5 vs. Minnesota.
WDE +17!
Go #9 Colorado -10, knock #21 Utah out of the top 25.
Go Vanderbilt +7.5, knock #24 Tennessee out of the top 25.
Go #13 Florida +7 vs. #15 Florida St.

So the UNC football team again makes basketball season look good. For years, and especially in otherwise good years, they seem to always find a way to blow a big one. Buh-bye chance at ACC champs. Buh-bye to decent bowl trip. Typical season

On a better note, U-Dub is so far kicking WaSu butt.

I don't really care who wins Michigan-Ohio State (currently 3-0 Michigan), but I hope they keep scoring. I do love the Michigan fight song...

Bama has had 6 fumbles bounce back into another bama player's or the fumbler's hands

And it is only halftime

6

We have 2 interceptions or we wouldn't have anything

9 to 13

WDE +17! AL beat the spread by 1, crap.
USC’s Adoree' Jackson punt, catch and kickoff TDs, pretty rare. ND gets a garbage time TD with 1:02 left, goes for 2 as if they’re gonna score 16 more, misses the spread by 0.5, arrrggghhh. I go 1-6, am out of the money. :(
