Tennessee +7.5 vs #7 Georgia Crap
#24 Mississippi St. +9 @ #13 Auburn
#12 Virginia Tech + 7.5 vs #2 Clemson
#6 Washington -26.5 @Oregon St.

Lotta underdogs in the games I care extra about this week. Let's see USC, Georgia  and Clemson all get knocked out of the top 10.
MD beat MN with 1:40 left. For the moment it's tied for the Big 10 East lead. ;)

I suck. With 9 (!) games left, over 50% of the day’s total 17, I can’t finish in the money. What else is on TV tonight?

I would have taken the odds, but then, I don't bet against AU.

Everybody got to play.

Washington is #6. I also like #7 Michigan, #9 Wisconsin and #11 Washington St.

A lot of large spreads this week.

Go:

Northwestern +14 vs #4 Penn St., I can dream.
#13 Miami (FL) -3 @ Florida St.
#23 West Virginia +12.5 @ #8 TCU
Maryland +32 @ #10 Ohio St. :D
Stanford -6.5 @ #20 Utah, weird to have the unranked visitor favored, but I'll go with it

Mixed feelings on LSU + 6.5 @ #21 Florida. Advice?

The refs have a history of being suspended for being a little too involved fla wins against LSU.

Gotta keep sec teams in the rankings

I pick fla, but it's always a crazy game.

Okay, unless something changes I'll go with the Gators . . . and give you the credit or the blame. ;)

One of our longtime players is a UNLV fan, not sure what his connection is. I've sent him an 'I'm sorry' email.
Thanks. I was born and raised in Las Vegas. My parents still live there so we visit at least twice a year. It's terrible.

We bet on all the games a top 25 team is playing in except for Thursday games. I just list the ones here that I care extra about or that are competitive straight up.

I've also got:

Mississippi +21 @ #12 Auburn. (nothing personal, if Mississippi was the higher ranked team I would bet on Auburn)
#21 Notre Dame -14.5 @ UNC
#9 Wisconsin -12 @ Nebraska
#7 Michigan -10 vs Michigan St.
#11 Washington St. -2 @ Oregon (was offline earlier in the week)
#19 S. Diego St. -10.5 @ UNLV (tough rooting against UNLV this week)
#6 Washington -27.5 vs California

 Auburn beat the spread 2 1/2 minutes into the 2nd quarter and it’s looking ugly for me in the other 4 early games.

Ole Miss beats the spread with 3 minutes left . . . if it had kicked the damn EP. Instead, it failed going for 2 as if scoring 19 more was even a possibility, fail. Bastards, push.
Unranked Iowa St was down 14-0 and 24-10 in Norman, OK, brilliant comeback with the 3rd string QB - 343 yds, 3 TDs, no INTs, 5 straight scoring possessions - wins with 2:19 left, knocks #3 OK out of the top ten. It’s a good day whatever else happens.

I start off 2-2-1, middle of the pool pack.

Go:

#13 Miami (FL) -3 @ Florida St. Miami beats the spread with 5 minutes left, lost it with 1:24 left, won the game and beat the spread by 1 with 6 seconds left!
#23 West Virginia +12.5 +13.5 @ #8 TCU Lost in a good game, but beat the spread by 6.5.
Maryland +32 +30 @ #10 Ohio St. :D That's just sad.
Mixed feelings on LSU +6.5 +3 @ #21 Florida. Advice? I went with Florida per your advice. You bastard. FL missed 2 PATs! Either one would have forced OT.
#21 Notre Dame -14.5 @ UNC Yes.
I'm in a 4-way tie 1 out of the lead.

Their last Atlantic Coast Conference championship was in 2001, before that 1985. New conference, same tradition. More money? I don't know.

When some teams I like are playing favorites of other pool members I usually propose a spread-based side bet. We do have an OH St fan, but I forgot all about my norm. So, I'm calling this one a win for me. :D

#9 Wisconsin -12 @ Nebraska Go Badgers!
#7 Michigan -10 vs Michigan St. The weather wasn't the only ugly thing in the state. Michigan St. sucked less.
#11 Washington St. -2 @ Oregon (was offline earlier in the week) The Cougs are for real. Top 10? Gotta be with OK & Mich losing.
I'm in a 6-way tie for 1st with 3 games left to go. Gonna be a late night. I’m the only 1 of the 6 that bet on Stanford -5.5.

Crap!!! UT lost but beat the spread with 44 seconds left thanks to 2 legit targeting calls, 2! Looks like I'll be in a multi-player tie for 2nd.

Forgot to mention, Iowa St was the 28 point underdog.

Yep, 4 of us share 2nd - about $7.50, whoopee.
