WTF, undefeated WI won 45-17, dropped from #4 to #6.
8-1 Clemson barely beat North Carolina State 38-31, jumped from #6 to #4.

The other changes seem fairly reasonable at a glance.

we play #1 and #2 over the next three weeks. I'm still not sure what we have. When we lost to then #? Clemson we were missing our big back and our quarterback was in his 1st game after skipping a year of football and lsu looked like most Gus's fault.

most would lose to a #1, or a #2 team without dropping in the polls much and without it saying much more than they got beat by #1 or #2, but we are about to play both - and could win. WDE

Message received loud and clear. I will bet on PSC #7 (8-0) Miami +3 vs #3 (8-1) Notre Dame in Miami. Since I like both and figure that either winner has a good shot at the playoffs, I'll punt and give you two the credit or the blame for this week's bet. Thanks!

If Miami wins out, it will include beating the hated Clemson in the ACC championship. I can dream.

Ugh, I'm picking #5 (8-1) Oklahoma -7.5 vs #6 (8-1) TCU, but what I really want is a 3-0 score after multiple OTs in a really ugly game. Instead, either winner has a good shot at the playoffs. With (8-1) Clemson playing lowly 3-5 Florida State, it could and probably should lose its #4 spot to the winner of this game. Fine with me.

#8 (9-0) Wisconsin is getting screwed. If it wins the Big 10 and is excluded, it will be a crime.

I went with: #18 UCF -38.5 vs Connecticut. We'll see, that's a huge spread for a number 18 team from a weak conference.

No offense intended...so what is the story about War Damn Eagles and Tigers?

Tiger is the mascot, always has been.
The story is that a student woke on a Civil War battlefield and found a young eagle chick that he raised. After returning to finish his degree, he stayed as a teacher. The eagle became known around campus as War Eagle. He was startled after a touchdown by crowd noise and as he flew the crowd pointed and screamed War Eagle.
