True.

If ownership is greedy . . .

Ravens take clever approach to seal game by holding every Bengals player on safety (funny video)

Go Raiders! Good thing Baltimore and Seattle are in such awful divisions.

The Carolina Panthers are playing at the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Bucs can still make the playoffs . . . if 7 games, 7!, go their way. :D

Go Panthers. I'd much rather see Green Bay and Detroit in the playoffs than Tampa Bay or D.C.

With their season on the line, the 'Skins were skinned. Bucs won't be allowed into playoffs until they do something about those double-ugly unis. They've always been ugly, but this year looks like a record.

On a more pleasant note, 'Hawks won, but I fear their future further in the season may be shaky.

Could be Dallas-Pats, ugh.

Oakland goes to Houston, could win that one even with a backup QB.
Go Pittsburgh at home vs. Miami. If Pittsburgh wins it goes to KC, better than New England.
Seattle gets Detroit at home, could certainly win. If Seattle wins it goes to Atlanta, could be worse. I like Detroit, too. If it wins it goes to Dallas, ut-oh.
NY Giants go to Green Bay, I'll take either.

Very early odds:

Oakland +3.
Pittsburgh -10, wow.
Seattle -7.5, sweet.
Green Bay -3.5.

Now:

Oakland +4.
Pittsburgh -10.5.
Seattle -8.
Green Bay -5.

Every spread increased, 27.5 total. "That’s the highest that number has been since at least 2007, and most seasons it doesn’t approach 20."

Yep.

Watch this, on 4th down:

Incredible one hand catch TD - Paul Richardson Seattle Seahawks - Detroit Lions 01-08-2017

Facemask, what facemask?

It's even better with German commentary.

Yay, Ms. O Really!

Marshawn Rawls was a beast.

Could have gone the other way without 2 more "Odell" catches by Richardson - all 3 of the 4 thrown at him - and lots of dropped passes and dumb penalties by the Lions. Then, there's the Baldwin Butt Catch.

They're coming for you, Falcons.

Yeah, that was a fun game! If it were anybody but the "Hawks, though, I'd feel sorry for Detroit. In a year "Cubs win" you'd think they could break their playoff drought.

Wow, underestimate. Opps. It gave the Steelers a 1st down and eventual TD. Le'Veon Bell topped Franco Harris for most Steelers rushing yards in a playoff game with 167.

Go Steelers vs. KC!

Go Houston vs. the Pats, but I wouldn't bet on it.

I'm rooting for all underdogs.

Very early odds:

Pittsburgh +1 at KC.
Seattle +4 at Atlanta.
Green Bay +4 at Dallas.
Could be anyone's games.

Houston +16 at New England.
According to pro-football-reference.com, there have been three playoff games with point spread larger than 16 points, including a Super Bowl:

At the end of the 1998 season the Arizona Cardinals, led by Jake Plummer, upset the Dallas Cowboys in the wild-card round and then were 16.5-point underdogs at the Minnesota Vikings, who went 15-1 with rookie receiver Randy Moss. The Vikings won by 20 in that divisional round win.

In most famous upset in NFL history, the New York Jets were 18-point underdogs in Super Bowl III and beat the Baltimore Colts 16-7.

In the largest spread in NFL playoff history, the San Francisco 49ers were 19-point favorites over the San Diego Chargers in Super Bowl XXIX. The 49ers won 49-26.

People must be betting on KC, Atlanta and Dallas. :(
