A Trump supporter....

Generally an unmoderated forum for discussion of pretty much any topic. The focus however, is usually politics.

Just saw a video of Trump's cabinet meeting. Everyone took turns more or less praising Trump, sans Mattis, who took the opportunity to say it was an honor to be working with the men and women of the DoD.

I can't recall anything like that being done in the past, not sure if you guys can. It seems rather odd though.
Happens all the time. ;)

A lot of folks online are comparing it to North Korea.
Trophy wife, trophy Cabinet. I would find this character and pattern of behavior to be uber-disturbing in any lefty pol. What is wrong with Trumpettes?

Trump Invites His Employees To Praise Him During Cabinet Meeting

Absolutely pathetic display by Dolt .45 and his toadies.
Special piss balloons should be heaved at the toadies. They remind me of Baron Harkonnen's doctor in 1984's Dune.

The clips will haunt them for the rest of their professional lives. I haven't looked but I'll bet that there are ass-kissing Photoshops already out there for each of them.

North Carolina Woman Wears Pro-Trump Shirt to Starbucks, Barista Writes 'Build a Wall' on Her Cup

Suck it up, snowflake, their free speech is the same as yours. If I lived closer to the Dilworth neighborhood of Charlotte, I would stop by just to leave a YUGE tip. She should be more worried about being stupid enough to buy any consumable from minimum wage workers while wearing her President* Trump shirt, unless she likes spit.

I'm mailing $20 to the staff tip jar.

Not exactly minimum wage, but your point is well taken. I think I'll send them something, too.

Talking to my brother in law about Trump.

A bunch of his union brothers voted Trump. Hillary was going to take their guns away (this is NJ, mind you. Look up the gun laws...), while Trump was going to let them keep them. Trump was also going to round up the illegals and ship them back to Mexico. Union guys making bank Voted Republican/Trump because of Mexicans and guns.

I guess I've been isolated from these types for so long I forgot that they really are parodies of themselves.

I generally favor (much) better gun safety laws, but if I'm not mistaken, in NJ a bb gun is considered a firearm. That may be a bit of well-intentioned excess.

But anyway, why do those guys even still have guns? Didn't Obama take them away?

Obama also destroyed the local economy, which died about thirty years ago.

Found this on Reddit, which mirrors what I've (and many other have) been saying since the election:
There's an old saying that "politics makes strange bedfellows," and nowhere is that more true than in the Republican party...

If you wrote it all down factually in a novel or movie script, it would be rejected as just too silly and unbelievable. This is on my mind whenever I spend time among by in-laws in Lower Alabamastan. Pretty fucking surreal, actually.

This is hilarious, also a bit scary.

http://www.rawstory.com/2017/07/calling ... ependence/
For 29 years, National Public Radio’s “Morning Edition” has celebrated the Fourth of July with a reading of the Declaration of Independence by hosts, reporters, newscasters and commentators.

This historically uncontroversial testament to the nation’s founding document proved uncontroversial-no-more in the year 2017.

After NPR tweeted the accompanying text of the declaration line by line, Donald Trump backers (seemingly unaware of the source document) accused the media organization of playing partisan politics and attacking the president.

“So, NPR is calling for a revolution,” Twitter user @JustEsrafel wrote.

“Propaganda is that all you know?” another asked.

I started to post on the other thread, and chose this one.
Y'all remember all the Obama-as-Messiah pics posted by the RWNJs? Trump supporters see their guy as some anointed paragon of all that is holy. God bless you and your beautiful family... May the angels wrap their wings around you as you fly to Poland... I do not understand how the fervently religious place this creep on a pedestal. They are so malleable. I forget the term for it, but "fake news", for instance, has been repeated so often, they buy into it with not one iota of logical or critical thinking.

I need therapy or drugs. I'm starting to believe there are more of Them than Us, and that scares me. I don't want to wish ill of his supporters, because they're ignorant, bless their hearts. However, sooner or later, they will get kicked in the ass when their Anointed One shits them big time. But will it matter? Remember, he could shit on his desk, tweet it, and his faithful would not only defend him, they would applaud.

Descending into madness.................
