President* Trump

Generally an unmoderated forum for discussion of pretty much any topic. The focus however, is usually politics.

Anderson Cooper was right - Trump could indeed take a dump on the Oval Office desk, tweet it, and people would defend him. I think there are far more in the US than just Trump who have lost their grip.
A generation of boys/girls raised on the internet became adults. "Irony" became their modus operandi, and all of Trump's gaffes are laughed at as "trolling" liberals, who "take things too seriously".

On the flip-side, I guess when you think your future is hopeless, and those in power appear to ignore you and simply don't care, you tend to become nihilistic and just want to screw things up as badly as possible out of resentment and boredom.

Or, they think that anything has to be better than the status quo, which is a logical and evidentiary fallacy.

No surprise that the person who created Trump's CNN video is a reddit Nazi. And the journalist who pointed this out is receiving a barrage of death threats.
Real world semi-outed:
How CNN found the Reddit user behind the Trump wrestling GIF

The Reddit user who initially claimed credit for President Donald Trump's tweet that showed Trump tackling CNN issued an apology Tuesday for the video and other offensive content he posted -- one day after CNN identified the man behind the account and attempted to make contact with him....
Wow. Sincere or just scared, good apology.

Don Jr. accuses CNN of ‘blackmail’ over Trump wrestling gif

What whiny snowflakes the Trumps and their pathetic minions are! CNN is being fair and generous. I would have just outed without any warning the cowardly, anonymous, Islamophobic, racist, antisemitic, xenophobic, wannabe terrorist from Reddit that threatened violence against the media.

Is it too soon to toast Ella-Grace Margaret Trudeau (8)? Or too late?

Image

Four-month-old Justin Trudeau at 24 Sussex Drive, Ottawa with his mother and U.S. First Lady Pat Nixon, April 14, 1972

 Ut-oh.
Earlier that same day U.S. first lady Pat Nixon had come to see him in his nursery to deliver a gift, a stuffed toy Snoopy. Nixon's White House audio tapes later revealed Nixon referred to that visit as "wasting three days up there. That trip we needed like a hole in the head."
:D

Huh, the age gap was 5 years greater for Margaret and Pierre than it is for Melania and President* Trump. No point, just interesting.

I was thinking corrupt Roman emperor, but you nailed it.
In 2017 we have the rallies, and we get the bonus of Holy Roller responses to their Führer.

In September 1934, American journalist William L. Shirer had just arrived in Germany to work as a reporter for the Hearst Company. He proceeded to keep a diary of the entire seven years he spent reporting from inside Hitler's Reich.

Shirer thought it would be a good idea to attend the 1934 Nuremberg Rally to better understand the Nazi phenomenon. On his very first evening in the old city, he found himself accidentally stuck among a throng of ten thousand people in front of Hitler's hotel, shouting: "We want our Führer!"

"I was a little shocked at the faces," Shirer wrote in his diary, "when Hitler finally appeared on the balcony for a moment. They reminded me of the crazed expressions I once saw in the back country of Louisiana on the faces of some Holy Rollers...they looked up at him as if he were a Messiah, their faces transformed into something positively inhuman."

Its like when your white trash distant acquaintances have a meltdown on Facebook and you sit back and watch, unable to look away, popcorn firmly in hand. Only they have no influence outside of their shitty little crackhead circle of friends, while Trump controls the destiny of hundreds of millions. Uh oh.
Speakin of which, I spent the 4th with in-laws in Coffee County, down in Lower Alabamastan. I woulda commented sooner, but I've been pretty drunk. You understand . . . .

I haven't seen this tweet up top.

Everyone here is talking about why John Podesta refused to give the DNC server to the FBI and the CIA. Disgraceful!
11 hours ago · Twitter

Podesta replies with his own flurry of tweets, which I've tried to make readable without too much &/# clutter.
Conversation

John Podesta @johnpodesta
·
3h

1/ On a x-country road trip with my wife;

2/ Pulled in for a pit stop in E. Fairmont W. Va. to see that our whack job POTUS @realDonaldTrump is tweeting about me at the G20.

3/ Get a grip man, the Russians committed a crime when they stole my emails to help get you elected President.

4/ Maybe you might try to find a way to mention that to President Putin.

5/ BTW, I had nothing to do with the DNC.

Replying to @johnpodesta and @realDonaldTrump
6/ God only knows what you'll be raving about on twitter by the time we get to Utah.

Replying to @johnpodesta and @realDonaldTrump
7/7 Dude, get your head in the game. You’re representing the US at the G20.

It depends on how fast he's tweeting. You can click on the "Latest Trump Tweet:" section to see other recent ones.

Translation: "Everyone here is talking about" how Putin's Agent Orange never would have gotten his winning 77K margin across 3 key states without Russian hacking, the now con WSJ-proven Dolt .45 team collusion, and the useful idiocy of Trumpettes. Then, they mumble something to him about America being great, give him a shiny object and get back to their adult discussions.

They've been calling it "F5 o'clock" on the internet, because so much new info comes out either from Trump himself or leaks on a daily basis.

(F5 is refresh)

It appears Trump and Putin discussed forming a joint cyber security unit at their private G-20 meeting. Problem solved boys. No more need to worry about election meddling.

If that conversation actually took place, Putin is laughing his ass off.
