What's with GA and NC? The posted results have indicated 99% response for more than a day now but still no finals. Have they forgotten how to count? Been infected with the "if we test for Covid we'll find more cases" nonsense? Or is it just the military votes being late?
GA is extremely close with Est. 99% In, just 0.2% lead for Biden. It's headed for a recount ... and maybe a runoff?
NC has said all along that final counting of absentee, military, provisional, etc. will be reported Friday the 13th. Idk why it works that way, but it sounds statutory rather than incompetence. Fine with me if it gives Joe and Cal a chance. TV news just mentioned that Tillis is not at 50%. I'm not sure if they were implying runoff.
You guys watch the McEnany press conference? OMG... so embarrassing... for her.
Missed it.
And glad I did.
She's even more embarrassing than The Donald.
I saw highlights. This is going to the SC. Mark my words here. Trump will be appointed and everyone will say, but, but, but ...
I see why you're saying that, so don't get me wrong. So far though, the courts are laughing Trump out of the room. I don't see how it can make it up to the supreme court to begin with.
I just don't think it's a realistic possibility at this point.

Do you think that mitch and all but one of the repugs would go against tradition and the people's vote if they didn't have a plan they think will work.
Drag it out until it becomes a constitutional crisis and here comes judge amy.
We'll see.
Trump: “We had the safest border in the history of our country - or at least recorded history. I guess maybe a thousand years ago it was even better.”
If the election were nationally run, all under the same rules and conditions, it might be easier for Trump to muck up the works. But with every state running their own, they're all now going about their usual business finishing their counts, doing whatever their certification process is, and aren't that happy to have the integrity of their process questioned (see Georgia Republican Lt. Gov response). Trump's claims, even if true and proven solidly, aren't likely to change any results. Any "bad" votes found would just get tossed. And then, he'd have to win not in one state but in several - all on different grounds and subject to different laws. I'd guess right now the chances are greater that the SC will tell him to give it up quicker than they award him an election clearly against him.

Idk, but TV news suggests that Moscow Mitch and other Repugs are mostly concerned with not discouraging Repug GA runoff voters. Otoh, you know better than most, Floridian .
Collins, Mitten, Shrub and perhaps others have congratulated Joe.

I think nobody - probably not even Trump - thinks there's a valid challenge that would change the outcome. Trump's just keeping the base stirred up, and despite his loss the repugs are still too cowed to risk attracting his wrath.

He's also fundraising to retire campaign debt.

Yes, that's definitely the real reason to keep throwing around uncertainty and doubt. Follow the money.

Irony, the Dems won 2018. Looks like Repugs couldn't accept the results then, either.
The Dems won big in the US House.
The Dems should have lost more US Senate seats given how many seats they were defending. Their very few losses made zero difference since the Repugs already had a majority.
The Dems won many governorships and legislatures.

Nah, they were expecting to lose. That's why the rushed the supreme court. This is not a surprise to them no matter how they act.
I'm not saying we shouldn't be watching them closely though.

Thinking that should've been labeled 2016.

I wondered the same thing, but "midterms" are mentioned.
Donald is not the problem. He's a symptom of the underlying issue: 71+ million supporters who voted for him.
I feel for your country...or countries might be the better term
It's really hard for me to accept that those 71+ million supporters weren't voting for him because they are racists. If they aren't, they still support it.
Yeah, there is your average retard that just vote republican because that's all their family ever done, etc.... but this was a much larger turn out than can be supported by that IMHO.
