The ZL-1 as you know it was a special 427 V8 powered drag beast from 1969 and its 2012 counterpart follows the same formula. Chevrolet took the biggest and most powerful engine GM has got – 6.2-liter supercharged V8 and stuffed it into the Camaro. Ford is about to introduce its most powerful street-legal model ever. Arriving in the fall of 2019, the 2020 Mustang Shelby GT500 will make 760 hp and 625 lb-ft of torque from its 5.2-liter supercharged V-8. This output is quite an improvement from the last GT500 that offered 662 hp and 631 lb-ft of torque. Ford estimates a 0-60 mph time of about 3.5 seconds and a quarter-mile time of less than 11 seconds. It is said to be so much quicker than the GT350 that it needs hood pins to keep its heavily vented composite hood locked down.

A cactus ended up through a car's windshield when the driver struck the Saguaro after crossing the median Wednesday morning in Tucson, according to Pima County Sheriff's Department officials....

The driver was the only one in the vehicle and had minor injuries. He was detained for further investigation after deputies observed signs and symptoms associated with impairment, Jelineo said.

No arrests have been made at this time.
