My Festivus two days ago was brilliant. My Festivus pole was polished to a sparkle, I aired many grievances and engaged in some rather lame feats of strength. My pipes did not freeze, it was a true Festivus miracle!

So, in the spirit of the season, "I got a lotta problems with you people, and now you're going to hear about it!"

Contrary to some claims, it is not the day people traditionally box up their Christmas decor, but began in Victorian England when it was traditional to give out boxes of stuff to the servants and other poor. There has been some recent push, however, in the sake of inclusiveness and non-discrimination to refer to the day as "Containers of Any Sort" Day.
