The Friday Thread

Generally an unmoderated forum for discussion of pretty much any topic. The focus however, is usually politics.

Corner of Buncombe and Rutherford close to downtown. I stop there on the way back from the Peace Center. Cheapish gas, clean restrooms, easy access.

I haven't been to Greenville in a long time; the only time we go is to visit old friends that live near Wade Hampton HS.

I copy and pasted that QT location from their website because it was the closest one to me. If I go to Greenville any time soon, I'll let you know; may not be anytime soon though; we're seriously considering a move to Florida.

Friday night was a good one. Partied it up with bunch of Indian dudes fresh off the boat I somehow became acquainted with, impressed them with my knowledge of all things India, may have become an honorary Indian. Today was an all day kayak/fishing adventure despite a mild hangover which I quickly fixed with some QT pizza and fishing. Not even a single bite, but the day was still good.

Top notch weekend thus far

Dupont is a nice place. I need to make a trip back that way again and check out all the trails. I've only seen a small part of it.

Dupont is good. Take your bike or just hike. Either way, it's got a lot of variety. But Mrs. O Really and I changed our minds today. Ever seeking an excuse to get into SC and cash in our Ingle's gas chips at a cheaper station, we decided to hike Chestnut Ridge Heritage Preserve. http://www.sctrails.net/trails/alltrail ... Ridge.html

Nobody around, good 5.75 mile hike about 2 miles uphill, 2 miles downhill, and the rest reasonably levelish. Beautiful woods, pretty streams, and good footing most of the way.

Yeah man had to deliver a washer. I'm also a lady, which works out good for me because I happen to like ladies.

Glad you had a memorable memorial weekend. But that was then, and this is now with another weekend coming up. Man up, puke and rally, remount, suck it up, and eat the pain. Where's your Jersey shore pride, man? :P
