I had occasion to meet Bruce back in the early 80's at Daytona. He was a guest of Burt Reynolds in the owner's skybox back when Burt was associated with the "Bandit" brand of chewing tobacco, sponsoring the "Skoal Bandit" race car, and I had managed to be invited to the box next to theirs. Nice guy, at the time, and he was really pretty back then. If he had transitioned then, he would have been majorly hot.

But since Caitlin isn't the thread topic and Trump is, I'd say Trump should transition into some reasonable facsimile of a human if he actually expects to win even the primary. He's more like the other showbiz characters who have been "supported" for President, like Chuck Norris, Clint Eastwood (Dirty Harry), Alfred E. Neuman, etc. What they say as characters may resonate (who wouldn't want a President to say to ISIS "c'mon punk, make my day." Well, maybe nobody, but still...) But most people aren't really going to vote for Dirty Harry, and they're not going to vote for the "you're fired" star of "The Apprentice."

When Donald Trump 'Waged War' On Christmas

Donald Trump offered up his typical word salad to the Values Voter Summit today, but this time while hoisting his Bible in the air and claiming that it is “the reason” that he is leading among evangelical voters in Iowa and declaring that it is “the key” to saving America.

One of the threats to America, Trump said, is the so-called War on Christmas.

“The word ‘Christmas.’ I love Christmas," he said. "I love Christmas. You go to stores, you don’t see the word ‘Christmas.’ It says ‘Happy Holidays’ all over. I say, 'Where’s Christmas?’ I tell my wife, ‘Don’t go to those stores. I want to see Christmas. I want to see Christmas.’ Other people can have their holidays but Christmas is Christmas. I want to see ‘Merry Christmas.’ Remember the expression ‘Merry Christmas’? You don’t see it anymore. You’re going to see it if I get elected, I can tell you right now.”

I would love to see an educated assessment of trumper's intelligence based on his 3rd grade vocabulary. A normal thinking voter could never put someone with a below average IQ. Probably wouldn't make any difference with the current crop of trumpers, it could give him a little bump.

The only way to beat this asshole is to get on his level, or even below. The tiny hands superpac should start questioning why his hand are so tiny and unable to grasp big things immediately after he becomes the repug nominee. Imagine how embarrassing it would be to have such an ill-formed person for president shaking hands with superior hands around the world.
