Tweety Birds

Generally an unmoderated forum for discussion of pretty much any topic. The focus however, is usually politics.

If the house opens new articles (shit, there is still stuff coming from the old ones) who'll Trump attack next?

Yeah.
Chris Murphy
@ChrisMurphyCT
The moment we all feared is likely upon us.

An unstable President in way over his head, panicking, with all his experienced advisers having quit, and only the sycophantic amateurs remaining.

Assassinating foreign leaders, announcing plans to bomb civilians.

A nightmare
Trump warns cultural sites could be targeted if Iran retaliates for Soleimani strike

If American cultural sites are potential targets thanks to Dolt .45’s war criminal stupidity, that means I’m going to have to stop eating at McDonald’s and going to monster truck rallies.

What US cultural sites will you worry about?
Found:
by the way ...are Trump's building and towers cultural sites ?
Trump openly states that he will target civilians and cultural sites? I thought the goal was to defeat terrorists, not become them.
“Tehran's foreign minister had reacted to those initial comments by drawing parallels with the Islamic State group's destruction of the Middle East's cultural heritage.”

He’s got a point.
That was the first thing that occurred to me. Taliban Trump? SoS PompISIS?

Pentagon Contradicts Trump, Says U.S. Won't Strike Iran's Cultural Sites

You know that you’re a really lousy CiC when your own Pentagon says that you’re a war criminal. Too bad Rumsfeld never had that kind of integrity.

Well, Rumsfeld would be perfect for what's about to happen. He would advocate the wrong strategies and fail to send enough soldiers and materials to implement those strategies. And he would express astonishment that anyone would question his judgement. Like I said, he'd be perfect for this current clown show.

He may be pouting; I just read that his new Russia adviser was "escorted from the White House grounds due to security concerns." This was his third Russia adviser. The other two, Fiona Hill and a guy whose name I forget both testified against his directive during the House inquiry. I figure his Russia adviser has been Putin all along anyway, though.

GoCubsGo, he's a crappy cheerleader, too. One thing that I've never liked about some hip hop is the self-aggrandizement - money, looks, sexual prowess, rapping skills, whatever. 45SHOLE is the old, fat, rich, White version of those rappers, and he's really really bad at it.

Stumbled on this article while looking for images. Interesting to me, perhaps most notable for how popular Trump was in hip hop until he got political.

How Hip-Hop Turned on Donald Trump

There was a time when American rap musicians loved Donald Trump; he was regarded as the charismatic ‘billionaire’ celebrity who embodied the aspirational nature of the genre. Many famous rappers came up from a life of poverty to become world famous and rich. Trump was one of many icons who lived a life to envy.
That's just painful to read. A five year olds fantasy of a "really rich guy".

If I had Twitter, I'd twit the hell out of it. I don't even know how it works. If somebody twits on you and you're not twit following on them how will you know they even twitted? I prefer a more direct and public avenue. Fuck a bunch of twits.

You won't unless one of your twit family tells you about it. If somebody twits on you and wants you to know about it, they will take a twit on YOUR account, or they will hashtag you like #neoplaceboisadubmass.

Ok, thanks for the rundown on twitology; I will continue to abstain. Seems like a drive by forum and a futile endeavor. Count me out. But if you consider it, this whole thing here is like a micro twitter type of thing. It's more pervasive than I thought.

I don't twit, either, I've just picked up more about it than I mostly care to know. Otoh, some of the communal responses to idiots are hilarious.

Donald Trump's latest tweets!
RT @GreggJarrett: New Poll Shows Dem’s Impeachment Hopes are Doomed https://t.co/xZHLU2xVyr https://t.co/jytVKz5wy2
45SHOLE is a gullible idiot, again.

1. He links to a Gregg Jarrett article, a big red flag. Gregg Jarrett is a diehard Trumpette and wingnut Faux Noise hack.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gregg_Jarrett
... Jarrett is known for his pro-Trump commentary, and for his criticism of the probe into Russian interference in the 2016 U.S. election. In 2018, he published The Russia Hoax, which argues that the "deep state" have sought to undermine the presidency of Donald Trump and protect 2016 presidential candidate Hillary Clinton. He has described Special Counsel Robert Mueller's Russia probe as "illegitimate and corrupt" and likened the FBI to the KGB.
2. Gregg Jarrett's headline is a lie. Believing that no "new information will be revealed during the Senate impeachment trial" does NOT mean that "Dem’s Impeachment Hopes are Doomed". The Dems have not expected a conviction for weeks or months. Rather, the trial is about the ultimate jurors - the American people and what they do in Nov.

3. Gregg Jarrett is too incompetent to link to the correct article. He links to:
Poll: Majority of voters prioritize candidate over political party going into 2020 elections

4. The real article is:
Majority of voters don't believe new info will be revealed in Senate trial
Notice that it does not mention or even imply, "Dem’s Impeachment Hopes are Doomed".

5. Oh wait, it does say: "But Democrats, who have cast Trump as a national security threat, hope their argument will resonate with voters ahead of November's election," exactly as I say in #2.

So, with this one short tweet we learn that Trumpette Gregg Jarrett is an incompetent sleazy liar, and that 45SHOLE is an idiot narcissist who will swallow any obvious lie that he thinks is favorable to him.
