People who aren't taking this very well.

Generally an unmoderated forum for discussion of pretty much any topic. The focus however, is usually politics.

People who aren't taking this very well.

Unread post by Stinger »

A number of people don't seem to be taking Obama's victory very well.

The funniest one I've run across is from Texas. (Makes sense. It's probably the reddest red state.)

The treasurer of the Hardin County Republican Party, a complete and totally unhinged loon, wants Texas to secede again.

Read his letter and especially the comments of the chairman of the HCRP when he heard about the letter.

Frickin' hilarious.
A Republican official in Texas called for his state to separate from the United States and the “maggots” who reelected President Barack Obama in a newsletter he sent out this week.

Peter Morrison, who serves as treasurer of the Hardin County Republican Party, wrote in his post-election newsletter that there was a clear solution to the problem of Obama’s re-election.

“We must contest every single inch of ground and delay the baby-murdering, tax-raising socialists at every opportunity,” Morrison wrote. “But in due time, the maggots will have eaten every morsel of flesh off of the rotting corpse of the Republic, and therein lies our opportunity.”

“Texas was once its own country, and many Texans already think in nationalist terms about their state. We need to do everything possible to encourage a long-term shift in thinking on this issue. Why should Vermont and Texas live under the same government? Let each go her own way in peace, sign a free trade agreement among the states and we can avoid this gut-wrenching spectacle every four years,” he wrote.

The contents of the letter were first reported by the Fort Worth Star-Telegram.

Morrison also wrote that “many members of minority groups are simply racist against the party most white people happen to vote for.” He singled out Asian Americans, who he said should be Republican “as they earn more money and pay more in taxes than white Americans.”

Star-Telegram columnist Bud Kennedy reported that Hardin County Republican Party Chairman Kent Batman was surprised by the content of Morrison’s Tea Party newsletter.

“Wow,” Batman said. “OK, well — I guess I need to start taking a look at his newsletters.”
Minorities are racist for not voting for the white people's candidate. Priceless.

What the hell....win a few, lose a few.

There is one consolation that "A number of people" can take comfort in;
Obama absolutely will not be re-elected for another term. :lolno:

LOL, good one Leo Lyons.

What happened the last time a state attempted to leave the Union?

Porter Stansberry is warning that Obama will run again in 2016. He sent an e-mail out on the Newter's list.

Don't want to leave out The Donald. His ego couldn't handle it.

The Donald's tweets:
Our country is now in serious and unprecedented trouble ... like never before.

This election is a total sham and a travesty. We are not a democracy!

More votes equals a loss ... revolution!

Lets fight like hell and stop this great and disgusting injustice! The world is laughing at us.

We can't let this happen. We should march on Washington and stop this travesty. Our nation is totally divided.

The phoney electoral college made a laughing stock out of our nation. The loser one!

He lost the popular vote by a lot and won the election. We should have a revolution in this country.

Well, back to the drawing board.

The electoral college is a disaster for democracy.

Our nation is a once great nation divided!

Thanks to you as well, Stinger.
Perhaps I should call you "BatMan" but that's already a moniker I carry ... also, instead of Mike, you can call me Bob. ;)

.@kristenneel_ our "president" is a prime minister, is a woman, and is an atheist. I think you meant Antarctica. Move there.

@KristenNeel_ Not one word of that sentence is true. I'm not even angry, I'm impressed.

Wow! The president of Antarctica is gay? I thought their head of state was an Emperor?

Not-quite-true reactions from Wait, Wait ... Don't Tell Me:

Peter Sagal: "The Republican party has decided to run a candidate 180 degrees opposite of Romney in 2016. Mitt Romney has told the Republican party, "I can do that."

Commentary from the panelists:

Alonzo Bodden: "At what point do we tell Florida 'You guys aren't allowed to vote in the presidential election'?"

"Just how much money do you think 7-11 contributed to the "Legalize Marijuana" campaign?"

Funniest show I've heard lately.

Reading giving you a problem, or is it the thinking part?

No one said anything about gay. You might try some counseling to deal with your obsession.

I should have gone to Beck to start with. He's completely unhinged on a good day.
, I fear for our country and it is - it cannot be overstated, it cannot be called paranoid ... If you are a God‑fearing person, hear me.
Aw, why not? It certainly can't be called sane. Nothing Blech says is.

I hear that Papa John's is pissed about Obama being reelected. In response to Obama Care they are going to raise the price of their pizza by .15 cents to cover their cost of medical care for their employees.

The only problem is the public is responding by saying "If that's all it cost, why haven't you done that sooner????"

:wtf:

They made $87,017,000 last year, but they dump their employee's on the tax payers to cover their medical costs. Shameful.

That's okay!!! When I order pizza from them I ask they note it's my pleasure to pay an extra .15 to their employees due to the pettiness their employers continue to display. They note it every time, and are more than happy to do so :D

My personal favorite:
Karl Rove: "Hurricane Sandy interrupted Mr. Romney's momentum and allowed Mr. Obama to look presidential and bipartisan."

Besides the direct defeat of Mittman, there was also the indirect defeat of every nutjobby
half-truth, exaggeration, sky is falling proclamation that has been voiced over the last
four years, and there have been a cart full. In a way, wingnuttism itself was defeated.

I guess the folks at Ole Miss have calmed down and are back at the frat house downing
a few cold ones and looking for a little weekend tail.
