Pretty embarrassing, no doubt about it. I didn't want to sit for three hours and see
Notre Dame get beat, so I only tuned in toward the end of the third quarter when
it was 35-0. Ouch.

In retrospect, Lefty, such sentiments appear to be valid.

Still, ND was undefeated and beat many top 10 teams to get there.

Though, as I mentioned, "such sentiments appear to be valid," ND earned the chance to get their butts kicked.

I wish it had turned out differently.

should have lost against lsu - it took lester 3 stupids to give the game away
and could have lost against thuga but for another bad coaching call

I sure wish ND had won but they probably would have lost against 5 or 6 sec teams and uat vs oregon would have been a better nc game
