Joy Reid Exposes ‘Creatively Racist’ Fox News Spin On Trump Arrest
"I'm almost impressed that they have all come up with this," the MSNBC anchor said, singling out Jesse Watters' comments as particularly awful.

... Reid vehemently disagreed.

“The idea that Black people, simply because he was arrested, are going to gravitate toward him … it’s almost so creatively racist that I’m almost impressed that they have all come up with this, and on Fox, this is their new talking point,” she told civil rights activist the Rev. Al Sharpton.

“They think Black people like criminals, and that’s what they think of Black folk,” Reid continued.

“Well, it is part of the criminalization of Blacks,” Sharpton replied. “They see all Blacks as criminals, and they feel that we all will in a knee-jerk way go with criminals. No, we go with those that we feel are falsely being criminalized and tried and cannot defend themselves.”

Fox Corp. Sued Again For Spreading Donald Trump's 2020 Election Lies
Shareholders say Fox's disregard for the truth opened it to the $787 million settlement it paid out to Dominion Voting Systems and other such claims.

... Pension funds for New York City and the state of Oregon sued Fox Corp. in Delaware on Tuesday. They allege that as shareholders they were negatively impacted by Fox News’ decisions to air falsehoods, which resulted in a $787.5 million defamation settlement with Dominion Voting Systems and other legal claims....
It's a shame for present and future pensioners and I'm no Faux Noise defender, but :bs: :bs: :bs: . Faux Noise has lied for decades and any stock value depended on that business model. More specifically, the funds had nearly 2.5 years in between the 2020 lies and the judgement in which they could have divested. It's the pensioners who should be suing their fund managers.

Fox Sports has the same high standards as Faux Noise

Multiple sideline reporters react to Charissa Thompson's admission of faked sideline reports

Even worse that she brazenly admits it, apparently without fear of consequences from Fox.

And just the other day, a Fox "News" reporter alleges he was fired for telling the truth with regard to something about the 2020 election. He's suing them.

And just think.....if trump had actually booght the Buffalo Bills back when he was bidding for them, they'd have been repeat Super Bowl champs every year since trump bought the team.

40 years ago I couldn’t understand why reagan got so much credit for making up a baseball game when his feed broke down.
He outright lied about the game as if he were calling it live. Balls, strikes, hits - everything, all lies.

“On June 7, 1934, with the Cubs and the Cardinals tied 0-0 in the ninth inning, with Billy Jurges at-bat and Dizzy Dean out on the mound, the line went dead. Rather than lose his audience, Reagan improvised a streak of foul balls that lasted nearly twelve minutes until the wire came back. He would share this humorous anecdote with audiences for decades to come.“

oops, he didn’t lie, he “improvised” and created an oft told “humorous anecdote”

Stephen Colbert put Fox News on blast for using Monday’s eclipse to attack migrants.

“The Late Show” host rolled footage of the right-wing network pointing out people in dark clothing near the border as an announcer suggested they were waiting for the eclipse to sneak across.

“Yes, oh yes, immigrants in dark clothing are using the eclipse to sneak across the border,” Colbert sad. “They won’t get another opportunity like that until night.”...

Jesse Watters' Attempt At Math Goes Spectacularly Awry

... The Fox News host bemoaned what people who work at establishments like McDonald’s are paid during an episode of the “PBD Podcast” with some inaccurate math.

”If you’re making $20 an hour to work at a fast-food restaurant, right? Is that six figures? Are you making six figures?”

“No,” he was told. It actually added up to around $40,000 full-time.

“OK, so, $40k a year. So, and then if your husband or wife is also there. You’re making $100,000 as a family, both working at McDonald’s.”

Watters was told that would add up to $80,000....

The clip has gone viral on X, formerly Twitter, and on Saturday it came to the attention of MSNBC’s Lawrence O’Donnell.

“Does Fox have an entrance exam to make sure you’re stupid enough to host 8pm?” the host of MSNBC’s “Last Word” asked on X, formerly Twitter.

Watters currently sits in the prime-time slot that was vacated by Tucker Carlson.
:---P
Others echoed O’Donnell’s sentiment:
Maths is hard for republicans.
Hmmmm…how about some quick math.

A full year is 2080 hours, including vacations and holidays.

At $20/hr over 2080 hrs, that amounts to $41,600/year. At an average tax rate of 30%, that’s take home pay of $29,100.

I’d like to see Jesse live on that.
