Ah, I wasn't sure what Wiki search term to use.

CFL may have a non-compete arrangement or even legislation. However, from your link:
... The Buffalo Bills received a unanimous (NFL owners) vote of approval to play a series of regular and preseason games at Rogers Centre in Toronto from 2008 to 2017. This was separate from the regular International Series as arrangements are made by the team as opposed to the league as with the International Series. The Bills' Toronto Series was mutually terminated after the 2013 contest....
Guess it wasn't working out. There used to be an NFL Europe.

Bears got hosed, but I wish Justin well, by all accounts he was a good guy and teammate.

The Bears have been very busy, although more work is needed on the O line. Caleb Williams couldn't ask for a better landing spot.

2 Teams Who Should Sign QB Ryan Tannehill In NFL Free Agency

he tenure of Ryan Tannehill in Nashville has come to a close, leaving NFL enthusiasts pondering his next destination for the 2024 season. While the Tennessee Titans are transitioning to the Will Levis era, Tannehill remains unattached at present.

So, where might Tannehill find himself in 2024?

Let’s explore two plausible scenarios for the seasoned quarterback as he embarks on his 12th NFL season.

Chicago Bears ...

Kansas City ...

In either scenario, Ryan Tannehill’s experience and leadership could significantly enhance the roster of his chosen team, setting the stage for an intriguing chapter in his NFL journey.

No argument from me, I like our backup but a veteran would be a good idea.

The question is will Tannenhill take a backup roll?

He may think he's still a starter (and the only one to think so).

Playing alongside a rookie might be as good a shot at it as he's going to get. Idk, there may still be a team with a worse starter.

UFL Player Kicks Stunning Field Goal In First Try Since Teens, And Then It Gets Even Better
Jake Bates just got noticed big-time after his nearly record-long game-winning kick.

A United Football League kicker who hadn’t attempted a field goal in a game since high school made a 64-yarder to win his team’s opening matchup ― and immediately drew interest from the NFL. (Watch the video below.)

Jake Bates was living a long shot’s dream after leading the Michigan Panthers to an 18-16 last-seconds victory over the St. Louis Battlehawks in the opening weekend of the pro football spring league ― a merger between the XFL and USFL.

:-||
“I prepared for this moment,” Bates told Fox after his mighty boot, which the Detroit Free Press said was tied for the second longest field goal ever in pro football.

Bates’ feat at Ford Field in Detroit may have had an immediate impact on his career. The stadium’s main resident, the Detroit Lions, have inquired about him, as have several other NFL teams, Tony Paul of the Detroit News reported Sunday.
What makes the story more remarkable is that Bates, who obviously has a powerful leg, never attempted a field goal in college. He played soccer at Central Arkansas and was a kickoff specialist at Texas State and Arkansas.
The Tomball, Texas, native appeared in a 2023 preseason game as an undrafted rookie for the Houston Texans but did not make the team.

But now he’s really got the attention of the NFL.

Well, hey, Brady didn't have any real reason to retire except that Gisele insisted, and now she's gone, but he was still playing at a competitive level and seems to still be in shape - at least for a support role. George Blanda made it to age 48, and probably took more hits harder and with inferior equipment than Brady did. And Blanda smoked - and maybe drank on the sidelines.

Speaking of "slinging" it:

Aaron Rodgers Scrambles Around JFK Jr.-Hillary Clinton Conspiracy Theory
The New York Jets quarterback got into a debunked whopper about President Kennedy's son and the former first lady.
Sandy Hook Lawyer To Aaron Rodgers: 'Could You Please Shut The F**k Up?'
Attorney Mark Bankston, who has represented Sandy Hook families, didn't mince words when discussing Rodgers' alleged false and conspiratorial beliefs.

... Another source, not identified by name in the CNN piece, claimed that Rodgers had also said “Sandy Hook never happened,” and that “all those children never existed. They were all actors.”

... Houston attorney Mark Bankston, who represented a pair of Sandy Hook parents during Jones’ first trial, posted a thread to X, formerly Twitter, to call out Rodgers early Thursday morning. The thread reads:
Hey Aaron, not sure if you’ll see this, but I figure the best chance is to put it here on Twitter, where it will hopefully be sandwiched between a tweet claiming the measles vaccine makes children gay and an ad for a cryptocurrency scam.

To start, I can’t say it really surprised me to see you had been spreading nonsense about Sandy Hook because although I have not followed your sports career closely, I am quite aware that you are a slow-witted, gullible person.

Sadly, I’d have to live under a rock not to notice the frequency in which the media reports on whatever screwball propaganda you most recently swallowed like a hungry trout confronted with a shiny lure.

Being a poor schmuck who latches onto claptrap maybe isn’t the biggest sin in this day and age, but I can’t fathom how on earth you manufactured the confidence to think you have something useful to offer to any of these discussions.

As the Greeks instructed: “Gnōthi sauton.” Know thyself. You are a dumb jock. God apparently gave you many talents, but critical thinking is not one of them.

With your immense fortune, there is no reason you can’t hire someone to assess and evaluate basic day-to-day information so you don’t have to. Because you’re not very good at it.

I already knew this about you, but what I learned today ― that you were one of those freaks telling reporters (and god knows who else) that the Sandy Hook parents were liars and actors ― crosses a line you can’t come back from.

It means you can’t be trusted with important decisions. It means nobody benefits from listening to you. It means you’re broken in a fundamental way. It means you’re weak, and you’re desperate to believe what a grifter will happily sell you.

It means you’re not a leader and will never be one. You’re not cut out to be an influencer, a role model, or even an amusing iconoclast. Because you’re not eccentric; you’re defective. And that’s not a funny joke.
“There’s more I could say about the limitations of your character and judgment,” Bankston added. “But instead I’ll conclude with a very simple request that I hope will reach your ears: Could you please shut the fuck up?”...

(Kaaron denies ever being a Sandy Hook truther  )
:---P

What an idiot! I could almost understand his swallowing one conspiracy theory like COVIDiocy, but he's gone completely off the deep end.

WTF happened to this guy? Was he always a nut but just not so obviously? I know he's had long-time issues with his family, but now I wonder if that's in part because he's always been off in the fog.

Also, he apparently cheated on Danica Patrick, if that gives a clue.
