Three young Pallas’s cats are camouflaged against a rocky outcrop in Ladakh, India. The three kittens are on top of the rock but you can just spot the mother keeping an eye out below....

An owlet is captured mid-flight in Potters Bar, Hertfordshire, UK. The month-old fledgling was taking one of its first awkward flights from its nest.

Killer rabbits are a medieval literary tradition, and rabbits sought justice against the hunters in the margins of illuminated manuscripts at least early as the 1170s.[13] A killer rabbit appears in an early tale of Roman de Renart in which a foe takes hubristic pride in defeating a ferocious hare:[14]

The idea of the rabbit in the Monty Python movie was inspired by the façade of Notre Dame de Paris, which depicts the weakness of cowardice with a knight fleeing from a rabbit.[16]

Pliosaur discovery: Huge sea monster emerges from Dorset cliffs



... It belongs to a pliosaur, a ferocious marine reptile that terrorised the oceans about 150 million years ago.

The 2m-long fossil is one of the most complete specimens of its type ever discovered and is giving new insights into this ancient predator.

The skull will be featured in a special David Attenborough programme on BBC One on New Year's Day.

We saw them all the time in Navarre and yes they do turn over unlocked trash cans and take really huge dumps in the driveway, but in spite of zero evidence of any attacks there are those like Mr Naggatz who fears for his wife.

"Well I'm not anti-wildlife by an stretch of the imagination but when civilization confronts their backyards, I mean your going to have conflicts," Naggatz said. "When it comes down to choosing between yourself or maybe your wife or your dog or your child, there's no choice to be made in that case."

“FWC defines threatening bear behavior as approaching people or pets, lingering near human use areas, entering buildings and vehicles, and eating things like food and garbage in the presence of people.”

“ Simon Paul and Travis John Branson are accused of poaching bald eagles and golden eagles on the Flathead Indian Reservation and elsewhere from January 2015 to March 2021 and then illegally selling them on the black market,”

They got away with it for 6 years because their 3,600 customers kept quiet.

This, likely profitable business, will continue unless as many as possible of the 3,600 are charged as accomplices.

Rare video shows killer whale teaching its baby to hunt

Video filmed by a whale watching company off the Coast of San Diego shows a mature orca teaching its younger calf how to hunt.

The group of killer whales was first spotted further north, near Long Beach, California. Whale watcher Domenic Biagini filmed the orcas returning south to the Mexican coasts and captured their hunt of the dolphin.
