He's a bit of a dumpster diver, it's gonna be a battle. They aren't poisonous but the problem is it's what happens upon exit if he eats too many.

I read about those things this morning. What a nightmare....the things can probably lie motionless for hours and then suddenly come to life and cover thirty feet in about two seconds as they scurry toward your legs, whipsaw you off your feet with its tail, and start gnawing on your skull.
