Can't make this (stuff) up

Everybody to their own, but I don't do cold water well. Don't like mountain streams, don't like cold lakes, yada. I can happily spend the whole afternoon in the sun at the beach and come in to a warm/hot shower.

Cold showers are good after working with fiberglass insulation - pores close so the nasty stuff can be washed off. Otherwise nope, though I have jumped into cold lakes, rivers and streams.
That would have been good to know, I suppose, in the maybe one time I've ever gotten into the attic fluff, but I'd probably have had to think about it even then. Hmmmm, itchy fibre skin; dash of cold water....itchy fibre skin, dash of cold water...hmmm, how itchy are we talking about? As I think about it, that was a pretty miserable experience. Florida summer, I climbed up into the attic to run some wires for outdoor deck speakers (that'll give you a hint of how long ago it was) Spent about 45 minutes or so up there, sweating, itching, and bitching. Didn't even occur to me to take a cold shower.
I did some remodels and additions at decades ago, and laid rolled insulation in my current condo attic.

Yep, very itchy, and it lasts for hours if one first showers in warm water or doesn't shower at all. Then, it's not so awful with switching to a hot shower after a thorough washing in cold water.

My favorite hot springs have adjacent cold streams for dipping in then hopping back into the hot. Very refreshing.
I've been known to flop around in cold rivers, creeks, or lakes even if I don't have any insulation on me. If I did have insulation on me I'd probably hose myself off right there in the yard and then go flop around in the creek. Somebody has to do it. If the country defaults I bet there willl be a lot of people flopping around in cold creeks and rivers. It'll be flop city for sure.

Man, if I had any of that weed, I'd stay as far away from my car as I could get. Probably just stay inside with that stuff. 8-)

And do ANYTHING other than call the cops.

I notice that the video never says whether they really were being tailed by a bunch of cops in unmarked cars.

The whole thing reminded me of when I first began smoking pot back in high school and being paranoid about whether the straights knew I was high. We all carried Visene eye drops in those days. But I was never paranoid to the point of running down to the principal's office, giving him my pot, and turning myself in. Fuck that noise.

:D What people really noticed was that we reeked, anyhow.

#1 is very bizarre. Good on the judge for getting it right, but why didn't the guy split the moment the family showed up?

Beat you to #2 this morning. :P

 Updated song...."Baby, You've Always Been Heavy, But Not Like This" in tribute to how $39,934 would be 3,993,400 pennies. And it would require considerable oil to soak all of them.

Don't give the asshole boss any ideas.

Man who conned 8 women out of over $400,000 gets stuck on window ledge while escaping

... Making a run for it: Nie was finally caught last month after one of the women confronted him.

After she told him to return the 300,000 yuan (approximately $42,000) he owed her, he reportedly attempted to escape through a nearby window. He had to call the authorities and ask for help after he realized that he was stuck on the window ledge of the building’s 23rd floor.

The aftermath: An investigation is currently underway, and Nie is now in custody.
Opps, 'bout as smart as the Knights Who Say "Ni!" or as smart as this Florida man:
