There were claims of cheating and missed calls by the refs, but after reviewing every second of the contest it was determined there was not a single basis for claim. In addition, the careful review of the game discovered numerous missed calls that would have gone against the losing team. The Supreme Court rejected an effort by Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., to block a subpoena for him to testify in front of a Georgia grand jury investigating attempts to overturn the 2020 election.
In an unsigned order released Tuesday afternoon, the Supreme Court said that Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis could continue her investigation into efforts to overturn the election in Georgia. The state was the focus of former President Donald Trump and his allies in their attempt to subvert the election results, with Joe Biden winning the state by about 12,000 votes....
The order removed a temporary stay by Justice Clarence Thomas on Oct. 24 that had blocked the subpoena while waiting for a response from Georgia investigators. Less tentative - Fulton County, GA grand jury foreperson: We are recommending "more than a dozen" indictments.
Predictions:
#1: TRE45QN, Meadows and Lindsey will be included.
#2: Some charges will be for election tampering, most will be for perjury.
#3: Definitive statement that NO fraud occurred.
I'm starting to worry that what the grand jury foreperson is saying on media now may have negative consequences in the sense that she's talking publicly about grand jury testimony.....maybe not in specific ways, but still. I worry it will leave a possible way for trump to claim some sort of harm from her statements should he be indicted. Also read a story in which two former federal prosecutors kind of feel the same way. Guess we'll see.

One SMALL difference may be that this is a "special" grand jury with no indictment power. All it does is make recommendations which the prosecutor will take to a "regular" grand jury that will indict or not. Weird, clumsy and wasteful system, IMO. Will the "regular" grand jury be calling witnesses all over again? Then, her pretty vague words will have even less irl impact if the "special" grand jury recommendations are destined to be released, anyhow. We'll see.

A Michigan attorney involved in multiple efforts around the country to overturn the 2020 election in support of former President Donald Trump has been charged in connection with accessing and tampering with voting machines in Michigan, prosecutors announced Thursday.
The charges against Stefanie Lambert come days after Matthew DePerno, a Republican lawyer whom Trump endorsed in an unsuccessful run for Michigan attorney general last year, and former GOP state Rep. Daire Rendon were arraigned in connection with the case.

Lambert, DePerno, and Rendon were named by Attorney General Dana Nessel’s office last year as having “orchestrated a coordinated plan to gain access to voting tabulators.”
Michigan is one of at least three states where prosecutors say people breached election systems while embracing and spreading Trump’s lie that the 2020 election was stolen.
Investigators there say five vote tabulators were illegally taken from three counties and brought to a hotel room, according to documents released last year by Nessel’s office. The tabulators were then broken into and “tests” were performed on the equipment.
... A state judge ruled last month that it is a felony, punishable by up to five years in prison, to take a machine without a court order or permission directly from the Secretary of State’s office....
Nessel announced last month eight criminal charges each against 16 Republicans who she said submitted false certificates as electors for then-President Trump in Michigan, a state Joe Biden won.
