Proud Boy On House Arrest Disappears Before Capitol Riot Sentencing
Prosecutors wanted 14 years behind bars for Florida man Christopher Worrell.

Authorities are searching for a member of the Proud Boys extremist group who disappeared days before his sentencing in a U.S. Capitol riot case, where prosecutors are seeking more than a decade in prison, according to a warrant made public Friday.

Christopher Worrell of Naples, Florida, was supposed to be sentenced Friday after being found guilty of spraying pepper spray gel on police officers, as part of the mob storming the Capitol as Congress was certifying Joe Biden’s presidential victory on Jan. 6, 2021. Prosecutors had asked a judge to sentence him to 14 years....

Thanks. If the RCMP and FBI come knocking, it wasn't me. :D

Aha.
Aldergrove is a community in the Township of Langley within British Columbia, Canada, approximately 59 km (37 mi) east of Vancouver....

This is a predominantly agricultural area, with crops including medical cannabis, grown by Canopy Growth Corporation, in the Agricultural Land Reserve (British Columbia) area. This grow operation is the largest federally licensed cannabis facility in the world, with 400,000 sq. ft. (3.7 ha) of growing space and may eventually reach 1.3 million sq. ft. (12 ha).

One might argue that anybody that can't make money selling grass isn't going to make money at anything, but Canopy folded their huge Aldergrove and Delta facilities and sold the massive greenhouses. Some say they had a massive crop failure, but they never admitted it. The operation wasn't without it's detractors. Some complained about the greenhouse smell; some didn't like that they were using federally protected land; a lot didn't like that they laid off everybody with a surprise and tried to get out of paying the required severance.

Their huge greenhouse is now owned by Larry Ellison and David Agus' SenseiAg, but there's still some pot production around.

We've driven past that place several times, as it is right on the border, but didn't know what it was. It does not have a friendly welcoming look to it, what with the guard station and high fencing.

Proud Boys leaders sentenced to a combined 32 years for Jan. 6 riot

Two former leaders of the Proud Boys, Joseph Biggs and Zachary Rehl, were sentenced to 17 years and 15 years respectively in prison for seditious conspiracy and other crimes committed during the riot more than two years ago.
:---P :---P
Biggs is a former military service member who helped lead efforts by the Proud Boys to take over the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021. Rehl, also a former military service member, was a leader of the Philadelphia chapter of the Proud Boys.
Our military is a terrorist training camp.
Judge Timothy J. Kelly also sentenced Biggs to three years of supervised release and a ban on any interactions with organizations that advocate violence against the government.

In his sentencing of Rehl, Kelly said he, Biggs and others participated in "a national disgrace" that contributed to the ruin of America's tradition of a peaceful transfer of power.
US Judge Timothy J. Kelly was appointed by P01135809. :---P
The sentence is far below the 33 year sentence for Biggs and the 30 years for Rehl sought by prosecutors.
GoMerrickGo, but I'm okay with a combined 32 years.
... Prosecutors wanted to apply a "terrorism enhancement," which leads to longer prison terms.

Judge Kelly chose to apply that enhancement to one of Biggs' and Rehl's charges regarding their role in the destruction of a fence surrounding the U.S. Capitol building which, once gone, no longer kept the mob back from law enforcement protecting the building.
Good, convicted terrorists.
But Kelly said he believed Biggs and Rehl had no intention of killing anyone and had no motivation to incite mass casualties.
Probably true.
... Nordean's hearing is rescheduled also for Friday with Pezzola and Tarrio's for Tuesday, Sept. 5.
LOCK THEM UP!
... During his trial, Rehl painted himself as a family man. He has repeatedly denied assaulting officers, even as he was confronted with video of him spraying law enforcement officers with chemicals.
Unaccountable coward, typical Trumpette.
... When he addressed the court, Rehl was emotional throughout his speech.

Rehl said he lost military benefits and professional licenses he's worked for.

And he promised he was done with politics.

"I'm done with all of it," he said. "I'm done with peddling lies for other people that don't care about me." ...
Yep MAGA LIES. Bye-bye boys.

FBI agents may come and go, but the internet and the Bureau never forget:
Man Accused Of Leading Rioters Into U.S. Capitol Arrested 2 Years After Violence
Brett Alan Rotella, 34, is accused of forcefully entering the walkway and assaulting law enforcement who shot rubber bullets at his feet.

A North Carolina man who authorities allege was one of the first rioters to forcefully enter a long walkway into the U.S. Capitol during the 2021 insurrection has been arrested.

Brett Alan Rotella, also known as Brett Ostrander, 34, of Kannapolis, was taken into custody Tuesday on felony and misdemeanor charges, including assaulting law enforcement, the Justice Department announced Wednesday.
Kannapolis is about 2:10 from me. Make NC better, lock him up.
... Rotella, who changed his name to Ostrander in or around 2020, was identified after the FBI posted a photo of him to its website requesting help identifying him. He was then tracked to a Kannapolis home and an Aldi grocery store. He was not listed as having an attorney as of Thursday.

More than 1,106 people have been arrested in nearly all 50 states for crimes related to the Capitol incident. Of those individuals, more than 350 of them have been charged with assaulting or impeding law enforcement, the Justice Department said.

Hey EmptyG, shove this in your terrorist-loving camo bloomers:
A Proud Boy pleaded for leniency from a judge, then yelled 'Trump won' on his way out

A self-described "sergeant of arms" for the Proud Boys and a member of the far-right extremist group were sentenced to a combined 28 years in federal prison for their roles in the Jan. 6 riot at the U.S. Capitol in 2021.

Ethan Nordean, a leader of the Seattle chapter of the Proud Boys, was sentenced to 18 years in prison and three years of supervised release. Prosecutors on Friday called him the "undisputed leader on the ground" during the Jan. 6 attack.

Dominic Pezzola, a member of the Proud Boys that became one of the more recognizable faces of the riot at the Capitol, was sentenced to 10 years in federal prison and three years supervised release.

In his address to Pezzola, 45, and Nordean, 32, Judge Timothy Kelly called the events of Jan. 6 at the U.S. Capitol "a national disgrace."

Yet, his sentencing decision Friday is half of what prosecutors sought for Pezzola and nine years less for Nordean. The punishment reflects the seriousness of what he was convicted of, Kelly said.
I'm happy, regardless. :---P :---P

Federal Judge Timothy J. Kelly was appointed by Donald Trump. :---P
... In his plea for leniency to the court, Pezzola said he had given up politics, yet as he was being escorted out of the courtroom he shouted, "Trump won!" repeating the baseless claim of election fraud that led rioters to storm the Capitol on Jan. 6....

(more crocodile tears later in the article :crybaby: )
Didn't have the balls to shout his cultish adoration during the trial or before sentencing. Moronic lying coward, just like his idol. P01135809, Pezzola and Nordean LOST!

Eric Munchel, Nashville's 'zip-tie guy,' gets one of longest sentences for January 6 riot at Capitol

Eric Munchel, the Nashville man known as "zip-tie guy," has been sentenced to nearly five years in prison for his role in the Jan. 6 riot at the U.S. Capitol.

Judge Royce C. Lamberth sentenced Munchel and his mother and codefendant Lisa Eisenhart at the U.S. District Court in Washington on Friday.
Awww, he brought his mommy.

Judge Royce C. Lamberth was appointed by Ronald Reagan.
:---P
Lamberth sentenced Munchel to 57 months of incarceration and three years of supervised release, said U.S. District Court Judicial Clerk Jason Onyediri. Lamberth gave Eisenhart, from Woodstock, Georgia, a lesser sentence of 30 months of incarceration with the same three years of supervised release, her attorney Greg Smith of Washington said. Smith said both Munchel and Eisenhart were also ordered to pay $2,000 each in restitution.
But but but, mommy will be in a different prison.
Munchel's sentence is among the longest of more than 1,000 Jan. 6 defendants. He received the maximum sentence prosecutors calculated under federal guidelines....

They arrived at the Capitol on Jan. 6 wearing tactical vests, while Munchel also wore a Taser holstered at his hip and his cell phone mounted on his chest. Munchel’s cell phone recorded a 50-minute video that captured most of their approach and entry to the Capitol building, which prosecutors used as evidence in their case against the pair.
Smart.
... Originally charged mainly with trespassing charges, the charges against Munchel and Eisenhart expanded in October to include obstruction, conspiracy, disorderly conduct and unauthorized entry. Munchel was found guilty of additional charges for carrying a deadly or dangerous weapon on Capitol grounds for arming himself with a Taser.
Smart again.
Lamberth found the mother and son guilty of all 10 charges against them at a bench trial in April after they forewent their right to a jury trial....
A hat trick of smart. Locking them up!
