Can "built his house on sand" also be a metaphor for building millions of houses in the desert? :P

Well, there's that. Water wars already on the way.

We'll see. The options are:
Massive canals to move water from wetter areas;
Massive energy intensive desalination;
Massive population shifts.
Conservation is a necessary adjunct, but can only do so much.

78 in Hooterville today . . . March 14! :wtf:
We've had some droughts in recent years, but only forests and Ag affected. No restrictions on residents yet, but maybe if we get an extended one.

It’s a better metaphor for not following the advice of ignorant tent dwelling sheep herders when designing your next home.
But it’s got a cute From the Pulpit kinda ring to it.

It's a rainy day, but nothing serious in most places. Some low spots in some streets will flood for a little while, but the problem isn't the rain - it's effin' cold and blowing wind. High may not make it quite to 60. We've pretty much got the same weather today as Seattle, but with more rain.

It's now saying you'll get a total of just 0.19 inches :crazy:

80 in Hooterville today. It's still March :wtf:

We only got about half, but it's a beautiful sunny day. Seeing the glasses view was cool, but there were no noticeable darkening effects.
