Bumper Stickers

Generally an unmoderated forum for discussion of pretty much any topic. The focus however, is usually politics.

Bumper Stickers

Unread post by bannination »

I got behind one today that said something to the effect "Opposing Socialism isn't racism, it's patriotism!"
I got closer and realized he/she is retired air force, and looking closer a disability sticker hanging off the mirror.

I wonder if he/she will ever realize the irony.

Probably somebody who insists "gummint don't create jobs" while never having a paycheck that didn't have "US Treasury" at the top of it.

Come on. You know it could have had "Henderson County" or "Buncombe County" at the top of it.

I was unaware there was a "Henderson County" or "Buncombe County" in Florida. Imagine that. :-0?>

Nobody said anything about Florida. Banni probably travels to a lot of fun places, but he lives in NC. And that's the most likely place he saw the sticker. Either way, what difference does it make? It's still somebody who might as well have a sticker that says "I'm a total uneducated idiot"

I thought this bumper sticker is a real hoot:

No, but someone in Florida said something about North Carolina.

I was referencing Stinger's remarks about the two NC counties; he lives in Hanging Chad land, you know.

Leo may not know that the internet wires run across state lines, or that there are very special people who mystically know names of counties and towns in states other than their own, and who may have even been transported by molecular deviation and DNA recalculation to some of those places. Some of these mystics may actually have observed natives of these foreign lands in their own natural habitat and commented thereon. Woo, woo!

But you'd be surprised at how many people really do think that the world ends (or should end) at the county line, some of whom have posted here.

:silent: So you're Stinger's mouthpiece now? :silent:

Or is it because you've been promoted to "First Officer" you have the authority to override other's
comments and opinions?

It's your reply to my reply that makes no sense. Get it? :wtf:

I think I'll start typing in bits and pieces in posts so I can get my promotion to your rank.

So, First Officer; where did Bannination state he was driving in NC? He could have been driving anywhere. He posted
"I got behind one today.." which was yesterday, and he hasn't posted today, so he could be out of state. Get it?

I just got a kick out of a guy from Arizona making fun of a guy from Florida
for referencing counties in North Carolina.

I know I've seen some funny nutjobby bumper stickers in the past, but after
a few days they fade from memory.

Just add that to the astounding shitload of things you're unaware of.

You're probably unaware of the fact that they weren't talking about anyone in Florida.

You're probably unaware of the fact that I wasn't talking about anyone in Florida, either.

Sorry you were too stupid to pick up on all that. It would have saved you some embarrassment . . . if you were smart enough to be embarrassed.

No, you're not. You're just proving what an illogical dumbass you are . . . again.

I remember one from years ago that said "visualize whirled peas" and it's actually something I live by even today. :D

Why are you so stupid as to make the assumption he was driving in Florida?

The most likely state he was driving in was North Carolina. The most likely firemen/EMT's that he would have heard from or seen would most likely have been from Henderson or Buncombe counties.

I was smart enough to figure that out. You weren't.

That's the difference between a rational, intelligent guess (mine) and a stupid, knee-jerk assumption (yours).

Not very surprising.
