The Dog Thread

Generally an unmoderated forum for discussion of pretty much any topic. The focus however, is usually politics.

I didn't take neo for a cattle rustler.

Questionable trivia: Marjory Stoneman Douglas says in River of Grass that the Lykes Brothers got their start rustling cattle from Cuba. Wikipedia says that they raised cattle and sold them to Cuba.
Was Marjory a conspiracy theorist, or
is wiki concerned about a Lykes response?

With a good steak or prime rib and no napkin, I'd have blood dripping from the corner of my mouth, too.

Damn, he's got a chain around its neck and he's beating it with a stick.

I always walked in front and called the cow.
What is going on here is that the cow just bit off that Armenian's left arm at the elbow and he's frantically trying to get it back.

What's even more disturbing is that the cow is wearing shoes and the Armenian is barefoot. The crazed bastard also tries to milk bulls when no one is around. Sick

If I was one of those easily offended people, I might be offended that no one commented about my beautiful dog, or her sunset swim.
Oh well, I shared.

I really liked the swimming pic. Was ambivalent about the crab thing.....hell, I didn't know dogs ate crabs.

My Jerk Russell (departe) learned to stay away from the big blues, but he was insane catching the smaller sand crabs. His record was 14.

There attraction to shellfish could be a result of my neighbors tossing them shrimp over the fence.

broke down and fired up the computer today for this pic. I've never been able to post a pic from my phone for some reason.

it's her catch, I can get my own. usually she sticks with the more plentiful sand crabs, but she loves the blues. and similar to your cat with a lizard on his nose, she comes out of the water with them hanging tight to face, nose and tongue. there is often blood, but as the old saying goes, "no pain, no lunch".

More lulu tales
She doesn't tear up her toys to get to the stuffing or the squeaker.
She uses certain toys as tokens. when she wants something, she will go get a toy and drop it at your feet. Certain toys are for certain snacks.
She also brings in turtles and carefully places them at your feet.
She violently eats crabs, but carefully collects hermit crabs. Again, she gingerly carries them to a spot and tries to keep them from running away.
I enjoy just watching her swim big lazy circles as she's doing in the sunset picture.

Good dog. I envy it because the dog has no comprehension of trump but is smart in useful ways.

There are some strange dog breeds out there.

I saw part of that when looking for a football game. It made me think about sneaking in there and making mischief with stink bombs and vague threats of mayhem...as well as what would happen if I tossed out a few raw steaks to the contestants.

I've always used 8 to 14 thousand years. This study indicated that we've hung with dogs for 23,000 years
