Cawthorn

Generally an unmoderated forum for discussion of pretty much any topic. The focus however, is usually politics.

I can't believe she went through with it. Oh well, we already knew that she was dumb enough to be with him in the first place.

Blech.

Very weird to wed on the anniversary of HIS crash. It makes the day more about HIM than it is about them. I predict an Oscar Pistorius - Reeva Steenkamp end to this marriage.

It was also about us, I guess:
... I ran for Congress because Cristina and I didn’t want to raise a family in the America many on the left seek to create....
Damn, I didn't even get them a gift.

In less than five years that woman will have gained more than 50lbs and she seems to be pretty hefty now. Madison will be befuddled and possibly dead from being suffocated by her. But I could be wrong.

She's a CrossFit competitor. For better or worse that's all muscle. I suggest that he either do the dishes or always carry a gun at home.

This will never work. She falls toward the very top of human physical condition and he's physically handicapped and probably destined to become more so with time. I give it two years at the most.

Plenty of south Asian immigrant slave labor, though, and a wife that can out bench press you and I combined. Don't worry about Mad.

Whatever.

 Actually I had initially had a line in my response you quoted that "I guess his wife could carry him around if necessary" but then decided to delete that part.

Several people consider running against against Cawthorn for NC 11th District seat

There's a growing list of challengers interested in unseating Madison Cawthorn, the newly elected Republican to North Carolina’s 11th Congressional District. The primary for isn't until March 2022, but several people on both sides of the political aisle are expressing interest in running....

It’s not just Democrats interested. Republicans like Wendy Nevarez are also interested in unseating Cawthorn.

“At the end of the day, you can’t just go in and be a voter as a Congressperson. You have to be ready to present legislation that actually has some meat to it,” Nevarez said. “That’s not something that he has done yet."

“And there are rumors, of course, that Chuck Edwards might want to run for the seat, as well,” Cooper said.

Cooper said the 11th District, even with a coming impact from redistricting, is still a very Republican stronghold. He said a Democratic win would be an uphill battle....
Edwards is my asshole state senator. He might not be a lightning rod like Cawthorn, but his agenda and votes will be exactly the same  . I may have to vote for Cawthorn in the RepuQ primary.

I knew Edwards once upon a time, long before he went political.

I never suspected what a dick he is.
