Yeah, but Iman was really good, too, and came from way further away starting point. I think he got votes/points for that.

PBS:
Surprisingly good. It's not just an ecological exploration. It's also an introspective journey for Hutto. My Life as a TurkeyAfter a local farmer left a bowl of eggs on Joe Hutto’s front porch, his life was forever changed. Hutto, possessing a broad background in the natural sciences and an interest in imprinting young animals, incubated the eggs and waited for them to hatch. As the chicks emerged from their shells, they locked eyes with an unusual but dedicated mother.“Had I known what was in store—the difficult nature of the study and the time I was about to invest—I would have been hard pressed to justify such an intense involvement. But, fortunately, I naively allowed myself to blunder into a two-year commitment that was at once exhausting, often overwhelming, enlightening, and one of the most inspiring and satisfying experiences of my life.”
–Joe Hutto, Illumination in the Flatwoods
Deep in the wilds of Florida’s Flatlands, Hutto spent each day living as a turkey mother, taking on the full-time job of raising sixteen turkey chicks. Hutto dutifully cared for his family around the clock, roosting with them, taking them foraging, and immersing himself in their world. In the process, they revealed their charming curiosity and surprising intellect. There was little he could teach them that they did not already know, but he showed them the lay of the land and protected them from the dangers of the forest as best he could. In return, they taught him how to see the world through their eyes.
Based on his true story, My Life as a Turkey chronicles Hutto’s remarkable and moving experience of raising a group of wild turkey hatchlings to adulthood.

Seems unfair to have a pro dancer as a celebrity participant.
A female-female couple is a huge step and JoJo has instantly become a gay icon. Bet it's a long time before we see a guy-guy couple, though....
Cool. Unlike with Jojo's hetero partner both celeb John Whaite and pro Johannes Radebe are gay. They're in the final 6 couples, but I may forget to check on their final disposition.Strictly Come Dancing (series 19): Couples

It's Useless' desperate way to post after me in a thread. He does it a lot, though using you for it is a new and stupid twist. Awww.neoplacebo wrote: ↑Sat Nov 27, 2021 5:53 amQuoting a ten day old post as well as removing that post from any relevant context. Yay!

It's about as rare to see someone throw up on tv as it is to grab a bird right out of the air. Can you believe that shit?

Crybaby Useless Thread
I get that you have a childish, 'Look at me,' need to ruin threads, but this pitiful tantrum of yours will get moved to The Cellar, too.

Do you mean to say somebody actually calculated the probabilities of both?neoplacebo wrote: ↑Sat Nov 27, 2021 7:21 pmIt's about as rare to see someone throw up on tv as it is to grab a bird right out of the air. Can you believe that shit?
That said, I'd rather see someone grab a bird than throw up.
Cause you know, vomit vs bird? No contest.

Re: Idiot box thread
Bush, H.W.(hard wired) version, threw up in Japan in front of Japanese dignitaries. It set us back thirty years; should have been on tv. His idiot son tried to go through a locked door (this might have been in Japan, too) and then grinned like a fool trying to recover. That was on tv. But it would have been better if he'd pissed his pants at the threshold of the locked door while he grinned.
