Can't make this (stuff) up

Generally an unmoderated forum for discussion of pretty much any topic. The focus however, is usually politics.

No one here denies the reality of the South, lying moron, though with your tragic geographic ignorance I'd be surprised if you could find it on a map. For years much of this forum has been devoted to panning the South. Pay attention.

Otoh, this entire pathetic tangent is your pussy deflection from your clear racism.

You must be very desperate to cower from even yourself to persist with the stupidity so long. Poor baby.

And it's you goobers who are overly sensitive about the less than admirable aspects of your region's past.
You may know (or not, you've proven otherwise on multiple occasions) where people currently live, but I'd bet dollars to donuts you don't have a clue where people hail from.

It seems to be very important to you for reasons no one understands.

I was born in Germany, does that make me a nazi lover?

If I were to adopt your attitude towards "Connecticutians", yes, it would.

But since I don't know you that well, I wouldn't make that connection.

But you did.

I was born in the US Army hospital at Ft Monmouth NJ. I hated it so bad my mom and dad whisked me off to TN where they were from. I've not been back there since. The only good thing about NJ I can think of was Edison's labs and the giant RCA factories there that made vacuum tubes.

They're the cousins of everyone from Rhode Island.

(Has anyone actually met someone from Rhode Island? Don't think I ever have.)

Of course not. Being in the "most beautiful state" no one ever leaves.
https://www.miamiherald.com/miami-com/m ... its%20size.
... The experts scored states by counting the number of registered historic places, national parks, national historic landmarks, Instagram hashtags, and the number of Google searches its most popular location receives. So it’s legit: Everyone knows, Instagram hashtags tell all.

The most beautiful state is Rhode Island, apparently. We know, we know. We were a little puzzled ourselves. But the photographers and printers applaud the fact that the country’s smallest state has the largest number of historic places, national parks and national landmarks registered for its size. There are approximately four registered historic places for every 10 square miles — the highest ratio on the list. Take that, Arizona, with your otherworldly landscapes and super big, photogenic canyon.

No. 2 was Massachusetts (Florida 3). The rest of the top 10: New York, California, Maryland, New Jersey, Connecticut, Tennessee and Hawaii. We are not sure how anyone in their right mind thinks New Jersey is more beautiful than Hawaii, but then we make no claim to be experts.
:wtf:
The least picturesque state, Printique says, is North Dakota. Since no one has ever actually been there, we can’t corroborate this.
 It does have the Badlands and Missouri River. Plus, its tree is pretty cool.
But we do know that listing Wyoming at No. 49 is a bit dubious, as Yellowstone National Park and the Beartooth Highway are things that exist. Then again, there’s probably just not enough concrete.
Bighorns, Tetons, Wind Rivers, Devil's Tower, that area the O Really's hung out in last summer, etc.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and in the criteria arbitrarily set up for the listing.
Wyoming at #49 is way worse than dubious. Not a place I'd want to live, but for sheer beauty it belongs way up the list from 49. Rhode Island has some picturesque places, but not particularly unique to them, if you look at coastal MA and ME. But hey, if the criteria is number of pretty places by size, then sure, a place you can drive through in a half hour (excluding the horrid Providence traffic) wouldn't have to have many.

They should make a movie about this one.....SC man and woman charged with "buggery" for having sex with horse. The man is also evidently a sort of sexual jack of all trades as he is also charged with child pornography. It's a sordid tale that would have been swept under the rug in earlier times. This kind of shit might have been acceptable back in the early 1950's or at least winked at, but not anymore. Fascinating.

Cochran US Senator from Mississippi bragged (out loud into a microphone) about having sex with farm animals at a get out the vote event.

Isn't Cochran the one with a degree in animal husbandry?
