The car thread ...

Generally an unmoderated forum for discussion of pretty much any topic. The focus however, is usually politics.

You guys sound like you were spoiled brats.

Every car I ever owned was bought with my own hard earned money.
When and where did we say these were our cars?

And then there's...

Half surprised he didn't say up north in Arkansas, after all it is due north of Cuba.

When did I ever say I'd been to Cuba (never have been)?

You're hallucinating again.

Right after your trip to Missouri.

Sure, if it fits your imagination-based stereotype. Go ahead and add that I was an only child, an honours student, decent athlete and dated pretty girls. Some would say that the pressure of academic success in a top quality school from two high-achiever parents is also earning my car.

Let's see:

First, YOU posted at about 4 pm today:

"Whoops, my bad. I thought you were still talking about my father's car. "

Then, OR posted at about 5 pm today:

"I was referring to the song "got her Daddy's car and drove through the hamburger stand, now..." but if that's the car your dad had, it was indeed a cool one. Here's my mum's car from the same period. SS396. Drove it regularly until about 75, then semi-retired it. Finally sold it around '90ish. One of the reasons they got me nice cars was to keep my out of theirs. "

I never had ANYONE parent or otherwise, buy a car for me. I had to earn the money though hard work.

Oh, wait. In 1999 I won a new car in a charity raffle. So sue me. It cost me $300 in raffle tickets. And about $10,000 in higher income taxes. So sue me.

Well, I also was an honors student (no u in honor), scored very high in all my college application tests etc. I was by no means an only child, and that made it even more difficult. And cry me a river about having two high achiever parents, you spoiled brat.

I can assure you that "my mum's car" is in no way the same as "my car" and probably the same for GoCubsGo's dad.

I did have a nice car, though:

See how easy that is, Useless? You should try it sometime, if you ever grow a spine. For example:

Comprehension failure (again). We all know that GoCubsGo is mocking your desperate resort to "Chicago" when you fucked up by calling Missouri "Down South". Just admit your utter failure already.

Is it "spoiled" if this is the car one is given?

:problem:

Anyhow, moron, it was as much a gift from my mom to herself so she didn't have to drive me around anymore. Plus, we all know that you're a liar. So, your disgusting bragging is meaningless to us.

Well, I misplaced the post on comprehension failure but it was just a matter of time until it became relevant.

Clue for the clUseless, my father's car is not and was not ever my car in kindergarten.

Gee, one would think that "an honors student (who) scored very high in all (his) college application tests" would have noticed years ago that O Really (English mom) frequently uses British spelling. I guess we found more things that you're lying about, Useless slimeball.
