Yeah, this sounds like a big hill to climb, maybe as big as Alex Smith. I guess if any golfer can do it if would be him.

But there's a point where you've got to think, after I'm not even sure how many injuries and comebacks he's had, I'm done.

His legacy and bank account are secured. At this point it's all ego. I kind of hope he hangs it up and finds peace.

I'll say. One of the GOATs, only limited by a bad back.
Tiger Woods Net Worth: $800 Million

Back and knee. A lot of it the result of over training, being too jacked up for golf and too much play acting and snake eating with Navy Seals.

So I've never been a Tiger Woods fan, but his performance at the PNC charity championship was really inspiring, considering it's been only 10 months since they wanted to hack off his leg. On the other hand, I have become an instant Charlie Woods fan. 12-year old dude, cool as they come, out playing in a tournament with his dad and a bunch of other pros and talented family members. Pressure was on, national TV, just great drives and sinking putts.

And he's got mouth, too. He said, "I'm glad Dad's getting to ride the cart this year. My back is still sore from carrying him here last year." Bada Boom. 12 years old.

Tiger said he regrets not being able to walk with his boy. :(

I always liked Mickelson when he was on the course, while sadly recognizing that he's always been a bit of an asshole off of it. But he's making it hard to compartmentalize.

Gut feeling is I wouldn't like a lot of pro golfers if I knew them personally.

Press about local boys Boo and Bubba makes them out to be pretty decent folk even though they're named Boo and Bubba.

I've met Jerry Pate several times. He was likeable, but most people are at parties and BBQs.

Maybe, but I'd never trust a grown man who called himself (or let himself be called) "Bubba". Doesn't matter to me if he's white or black, plays golf or drives a race car, "Bubba" is never an appropriate name. IMNVHO

Tiger has proved himself human on multiple occasions with his addiction problems and personal conduct.

I did lose some respect for him when he accepted the Presidential Medal from TFG.

But good on him for for making it back.

I've never been much of a Tiger fan, not because I didn't admire his play, but because of the ridiculous amount of coverage that followed him constantly. F'rinstance it's really annoying to read about some tournament and find up front that "Tiger did this, Tiger did that, Tiger shocked the crowd by putting catsup on his hot dog, Tiger finished 18th. And oh, by the way, some other players showed up and somebody may have won but we don't know because we were following Tiger."
