Why is it OK for DonOld to not just lie, but wildly lie by sixfold about US construction deaths in the Panama canal?

Where are the truthsayers on the right?

Also, that Governor Tredeau stuff is so very weird and insulting. He really seems to get his perversion off on bullying allies.

TRE45QN's puppetmaster and MAGA's War on Christmas:
Russia says Christmas Day attack on Ukraine was a success, as Zelensky calls strikes 'inhumane'

... Ukraine's air force said it detected 184 missiles and drones ...

According to energy company, DTEK, it was the 13th Russian attack on energy infrastructure this year
State-owned power company, Ukrenergo, warned Ukrainians of power cuts and planned outages until at least the end of the day
People in Ukraine's second largest city, Kharkiv, were warned to stay at home - the city earlier had 520,000 people without heating and electricity
Russia confirmed the "massive" attack on Ukraine's energy infrastructure, saying the "goal was achieved" ...

Homes destroyed by strikes in Kharkiv

Earlier, we reported that residential buildings were damaged in Kharkiv by Russia's airstrikes. New pictures from the city show residents returning to see their homes destroyed.

Do you understand how revoltingly childish and desperate for attention this is?

Anyhow, I'm leaving the door open for this just being massive stupidity on the part of DonOLD and his adoring MAGAts.
O Really wrote: Tue Dec 24, 2024 11:29 amHe was, and will be the President of the United States - one of the most influential countries in the world. His every move and comment is covered 24/7 ad infinitum. He doesn't need to make absurd comments to get attention. I think it's more just to keep everybody stirred up chasing unicorns either for fun or to cover up something he doesn't want to public to know about. Either way, it's not something it would seem most people would want from their President regardless of the foibles others may have had.

And yet everybody on your side just goes along as if it's real and a good thing. Are there NO republicans who disagree with withdrawal from WHO - an organization that literally every other country in the world except 4 are members of? Conversely, has there been any significant demand from the public to get out of WHO or has it even been an issue for many people?

You may be an exception personally, but I think it's that most Trumpers really don't pay attention to issues or anything other than fandom.
Supsalemgr wrote: Tue Dec 24, 2024 1:44 pmIn response to OReally. I am sure there are some republicans who do not support leaving the WHO. Personally, I believe it to be an ineffective drain on American funds. I also believe it is a left leaning, globalist organization. That being said, the USA should not leave it. TRE45QN's RW fans in Israel are trying to hurry the process along:
WHO chief says he was at Yemen airport which Israeli strikes targeted

Israeli forces unleashed a series of strikes on the Yemeni capital, Sanaa, and the western city of Hodeidah on Thursday, killing at least six people and injuring dozens more, the Iran-backed Houthis said in a statement where it vowed to retaliate.

The strike on Sanaa International Airport killed at least three people and injured 30 others, the Houthi-run al-Masirah television reported. World Health Organization Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said he and a United Nations team were about to get on a plane when the airport came under bombardment.

“As we were about to board our flight from Sanaa… the airport came under aerial bombardment. One of our plane’s crew members was injured,” Ghebreyesus said in a statement, adding that he and his team are safe.

“The air traffic control tower, the departure lounge — just a few meters from where we were — and the runway were damaged. We will need to wait for the damage to the airport to be repaired before we can leave,” he added....

Months-long hostility

The UN delegation was in Yemen to negotiate the release of UN staff detainees and to assess the health and humanitarian situation there. On behalf of WHO, Tedros sent his condolences to the families whose loved ones lost their lives in the attack, the statement read....
'War on WHO' sounds like the start of an unfunny Abbott and Costello routine.

I'm guessing this WHO thing is another one of Trump's "negotiation" plays. His standard MO is to take away something, then offer to give it back in exchange for something. US provides about 16% of WHO funding, so Trump can threaten to leave and be willing to stay for, say, an oversize share of influence or other benefits. Hopefully that's it - otherwise the US would lose more by leaving than WHO would.

It's not just about SoupySales "left leaning, globalist" whine. It's also complicated by the anti-science War on Vaccines.

So Trump went from touting the covid vaccine and himself for making it happen in "the shortest time anybody has ever seen" to being anti-vax just because Biden also backed the covid vax? Normally he would have kept on saying "I did it I did it" and for once he could claim a real and lasting accomplishment. How did he get anti-vax? And how did anti-vax get to be mainstream - if it really is, which I doubt.

I think it was more about his cretinous base than it was Biden.

It's not, but that it became mainstream enough to even be discussed seriously is incredible disturbing and sad to me. Being a significant driver of the 'War on WHO' really bugs me, too.

 Apt reference. Plus, the Donald Trump character, himself, consistently conflates reality and fiction. The rabbit hole is deep.

And he literally did this at the very start of his first administration when he argued his inauguration crowd size was the largest ever. Countless other examples as well.

Why didnt the blatant denial of objective reality not set off alarm bells? Why didn't such a petty, insignificant point to argue not cause any consternation? Someone who's a real leader wouldn't concern themselves with such things. Another example: whining about having a flag lowered half staff at his upcoming inauguration.

These people are pathetic.

trump even fucked up his whine about the flag......he whined about flags being at "half mast" which is only applicable to US naval vessels. The correct term for land based flags is "half staff." No matter how stupid, wrong, false, or ridiculous trump shows himself to be, his cult gushes in awe at every stupid little thing he does. One of my favorites was how a lot of them wore big white bandages on one ear when trump got shop. Logic would dictate that should he have been killed, they, too. would kill themselves. MAGA
