Yes, and much of the time those fond memories of a childhood in Mayberry are filtered through a less-than-realistic perception at the time. I "clearly" remember riding my bike to school in the second grade, sharply uphill to school. But visiting the area long after, as an adult, I saw that "hill" was barely a very gentle grade.

I don't know what Taxed does for a living, if anything, nor why he would choose a handle that literally applies to 99% of the population. But he should be in spin control. He would describe the Surfside condo collapse as "ahead of schedule renovation for neighborhood improvement and assisted relocation."
