Tangentally on the subject, I had a fraternity brother who was on the Canadian Olympic team as well as on the university team. His little joke never got tiresome (to him) when asked by his or somebody else's date what he did and he happily said "I'm a breast stroker."

Gaye Stratten set several national and league records as a member of Varsity teams which won the Canadian Interuniversity Athletic Union and Ontario Universities Athletic Association championships in 1967, 1968 and 1969. He earned 14 CIAU Gold Medals and 15 OUAA Gold Medals, and was team captain and Bickle Award winner in 1969. He also played a key role on two UofT champions in OUAA Water Polo, served on the Men's Athletic Directorate and received the Biggs Trophy in 1969 for Outstanding Leadership, Sportsmanship and Performance.

Gaye was a Gold Medallist at the Canadian swimming championships from 1962-65, held Canadian Open records in both the 100 & 200 yard backstroke, and compete at the 1967 World Student Games in Tokyo. Currently (1990) head coach at McMaster University, he was head coach of the Canadian team at the 1975 Pan-American Games and 1983 World Student Games.

... McKinnon, Bryant, and Mooney have long been SNL staples. Today, they're some of the longest-tenured cast members in the show's history. (The recordholder is still Kenan Thompson, who's been part of the show for a whopping 19 seasons and has showed no indication of departing.)

McKinnon joined the show in April 2012, and she's since become one of the show's breakout stars, thanks to her pitch-perfect impressions of figures like Hillary Clinton, Kellyanne Conway, Ellen DeGeneres, and Justin Bieber. She's the longest-tenured female cast member in the history of SNL, having signed on just a few episodes before Bryant and Cecily Strong. She's also been nominated for an Emmy nine times, winning twice.

Bryant became part of the cast later in 2012, just a few episodes after McKinnon. She's also snagged three Emmy nominations, making headlines for her impressions of Ted Cruz and Sarah Huckabee Sanders. Both McKinnon and Bryant have taken time off from the show over the years to film solo projects, with Bryant creating her Hulu hit Shrill and McKinnon most recently starring as Carole Baskin in Peacock's Joe vs. Carole.
