Jewish Rastafarians? :D
It's a big teepee. ;) 8-)

Anyhow, I THINK there's a connection with ancient Judaism - Exodus, Diaspora, etc.

Bob Marley - Exodus Live In Zimbabwe 1980

"Movement of Jah people!"
Movement of Jew people?
Could be, but he was also very stoned.
Exodus: movement of Jah people! Oh, yeah!
(Movement of Jah people!) Send us another brother Moses!
(Movement of Jah people!) From across the Red Sea!

Auburn won't be playing Arkansas

KD, one of our better shooters 0 for 14
And against Miami

1st round draft pick Jabari went 3/16 and shot only 50% from the foul line.

Wendell went an equally awful 4/14.

I believe that I've mentioned that we are a tad inconsistent.

Congratulations to Miami, especially to Eong and McGusty

Wow, an even 1,200 wins. Do you really want him to break up such a pretty even number? 1,203, or 1,204, or even 1,201 just doesn’t have the ring.

Maybe not, but 1,204 would have another Ring.

:D I think he'd sacrifice that for a 6th Championship, and 1,204 does have a "ring". Of course, that would also imbalance him by having to put that ring on a second hand. ;)

... I haven't seen the pictures, but I hear that Zion has gone skinny.
Maybe had to for recovery purposes:

New Orleans Pelicans' Zion Williamson suffers setback in recovery from foot surgery

I hope he gets past all this. It's a shame to see him go from so much potential to just another good injury-plagued player.
I was looking for a King James type greatness
I mean, how fucking cool a name is Zion

I wish him the best.
Report: Pelicans' Zion Williamson (Duke) won't return this season due to foot injury

:( 30-41 New Orleans is barely in position for the Western's four-team, three-game play-in tournament for the seventh and eighth seeds. We can expect an early exit.

St. Peter's to the Sweet 16!
'Tis the Tournament of Upsets

Maybe they would want to get better seeders next year?
In theory, the Sweet 16 should include only every 1 through 4 seed. Instead:
1 x 3
2 x 2
3 x 2
4 x 3
5
8
10
11 x 2
15

6 outliers. Glass slippers, anyone?

I disagree. I think the scattering is due to the "one and done" nature of the tournaments. During the season most top ten teams are beaten once or twice by an unranked or low ranked team. These losses can usually attributed to an off night for the top ten team and/or a rare outstanding performance by the lower ranked team.

If we went to a double elimination "Spring Madness" you would likely end up as you say with only 1 through 4 seeds in the Sweet 16.

One and done is more fun. (It even gives low ranked teams like Miami a shot.)

I never thought you were complaining. I like the 1 and done 64 team format. It gives the little guy a chance to catch #1 on an off night and send them home. Go underdogs

Go Dook!

I think I read that Houston hadn't won a post-season game since forever ago, although maybe not as long ago as their glory days in '83 with Hakeem Olajuwon and Phi Slamma Jamma. Taking out Arizona would be a good thing.
