Somebody might want to have a discussion with UNC alums.

If they let UNC into the Dance, it will be just on history/tradition, not on worth....
:P
I may have been mistaken.
But then, I'm just a casual alum fan as UNC alum go, and don't follow all the stats closely and factor in the length of Brady Manek's beard. I just saw a team losing a bunch they should have won or getting stomped when it should have at least been close. One might expect better from "experts."
Leaving aside the teasing, I think you me and the "experts" had accurate perceptions - a fucked up team that was not living up to its potential or tradition. We weren't wrong. Instead, it's UNC that has engineered a miracle turnaround, beginning with the regular season finale defeat of Duke on Mar 5 or perhaps a couple of games earlier.

Here are the week by week UNC rankings:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2021%E2%8 ... m#Rankings
Only 3 weeks with any ranking at all and 9 mid to late season weeks with zero AP votes. Sure, some folks can be wrong, but everyone?
Could be that the team finally became a "team".

I hate it for Auburn, but wish him the best. Kessler has finally made his decision, he's headed to the NBA.

KS is favored by 4. This is the 4th time that a #8 seed has made it to the final. The only one to win was Villanova in 1985.

Some guy on Morning Joe: "It makes you wonder what 7 teams were seeded higher than UNC."
 Wrong, between 28 and 31 teams were seeded higher than UNC. If you're clueless about how large brackets work just STFU.

Seems like Carolina is not getting good looks, not being a little patient and forcing things.

Damn, woulda been better to have been behind the whole game. Blowing a 15 point halftime lead is not a good look. Still, it turned out to be a very good season.

Classy play by Kansas at the end to slow their game while Bacot tried to get back to his feet.

I take it we're for "War Tampa"?
Go lucky:
No. 13 seed: Team CP3

After reaching the Greensboro Regional Final in 2019, Chris Paul's squad returns, with the majority of his roster consisting of former members of the point guard's AAU program. UNC's Kennedy Meeks and P.J. Hairston join Maryland's Dez Wells as Team CP3 tries to exceed expectations in its second year in TBT.
No:
No. 18 seed: Power of the Paw (Clemson alumni)
