Michigan 7, Vanderbilt 4
4-0 Michigan has the 2 highest scores of the CWS, can't win against that.

In dramatically more relevant college baseball news, "The Canadian Crusher" is returning for another season.

"Julien was named to the SEC All-Freshman Team and a Freshman All-American after hitting 17 home runs and breaking Frank Thomas' freshman RBI record with 69 RBI in 2018. He followed it up by adding 10 home runs and driving in 57 in his sophomore campaign. Julien drove in 101 runs in his first 94 career games, becoming the fifth fastest Auburn player to reach 100 RBI behind Tim Hudson (78 games), Gabe Gross (86 games), Frank Thomas (89 games) and Todd Faulkner (90 games)."

Congrats, but it's a shame that his production declined from his freshman to sophomore years. Poor coaching? :P

Fwiw, I didn't now that the MLB Draft has 18th an 21st rounds. ;)

How about - while Vandy did take 80 years to admit first African American,

My choice might have been different 50 years ago. Which has a higher proportion now?

it was still a decade later for Miss.

Oh, and Dad went there - among many other places.

Why did schools keep kicking him out? :P
Congrats to you and the memory, I assume, of your nefarious ;) Dad.

It remains unclear if there was any reason for Woodward's actions beyond basic frustration.

After the game, Weatherford's athletic department released a statement announcing the school is investigating the incident and the student in question will face disciplinary action from the Office of Student Services that could potentially escalate to expulsion.

The Weatherford College Police Department is also reportedly investigating the incident and has taken statements....
Otoh, nearby Baylor, SMU and TCU have all offered Woodward linebacker scholarships. "It's the Christian thing to do," their ADs said.

I'm not sure that I've ever watched an fsu game in any sport without being annoyed by their "tomahawk chop". Not so last night - with no outs in the 2nd Auburn was up 10 to 1 and the fsu crowd was silent throughout the rest of the 21 to 7 game.

Too bad Oregon beat Vandy by 1 point, or we would be playing in Auburn with a home crowd.
