BTW, it's a really good day to be a Bears fan.

Another reason to hate KC:
(KC) kicker Harrison Butker bashes Pride Month, tells women to stay in the kitchen

 :puke-left:
... Butker recently delivered the commencement address at Benedictine College, a liberal arts institution in Atchison, Kansas. This is the same college that once forced out gay basketball player Jallen Messersmith to remove a rainbow flag from his dorm room window.

It would seem that Butker felt right at home....

Then, Butker got to what he termed the dangers of the “church of nice.”

“The world around us says that we should keep our beliefs to ourselves whenever they go against the tyranny of diversity, equity and inclusion,” Butker said. “We fear speaking truth, because now, unfortunately, truth is in the minority.”
"tyranny of" fairness? :wtf: :crybaby:
Then, on to Pride Month, which takes place in June.

“Not the deadly sins sort of Pride that has an entire month dedicated to it, “but the true God-centered pride that is cooperating with the holy ghost to glorify him.”
Christofascist, figures.
Butker has every right to say whatever he wants at such an address, but he also deserves the flak he’s going to get over it. Most likely, he’ll take it as one for the team in the fight against, as he put it, “dangerous gender ideologies.”
"gender ideologies" :headscratch: He's opposed to gender?

Not his first time.
Of course, not everyone followed his lead. Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker took the opportunity to send a political message to Biden, wearing a tie that read “Vulnerari Praesidio,” which is Latin for “Protect the Vulnerable” – a popular Pro-Life message.

Pretty sure Andy Reid leans right and as long as he kicks well he's probably safe.

Probably, Reid is Mormon.

How to honor Native Americans without using the word Indian or depicting a picture?

The Washington Native Americans doesn't quite roll off your tongue.

Rotsa ruck.

Blackhawks still have their logo, don't they? And it's more cartoonish than the former Redskin logo. Given the history of the logo, they could change the name of the former Redskins to "Blackfeet". Of course, with the high population of actual Black people in DC, there might be other objections.

Not sure there's a huge gap. One's smiling one's stoic. The Blackhawks aren't the Cleveland Indians.
If you name a team after one tribe all the other tribes are going to be butthurt.

Some college teams, like the Seminoles , but no pros. Maybe some tribe will use some of its casino money and buy a team, named after themselves.
