You still don't get it. Maybe you never will get it.

It takes extra effort to respond to YOU, as I have to click extra on your posts to display them. Normally they are hidden for somoone on ignore.

In the case of V-Bot, I simply do not click on his posts. Dont' want to see them. I cannot prevent seeing them, however, when someone (usually Sicko who is immune from being on a foes list) quotes V-bot. I can't prevent that. Most of the time I'll not respond to his crap, but occasionally he needs to be taught a lesson. But I do not deliberately read any of his posts. I cannot help seeing them though when Sicko quotes them.

I don't know if I've ever been on ignore. As far as I'm concerned, there's just too many things going on for someone to institute any sort of ignore policy. Hell, it's self defeating. Besides, the opportunity to ignore stuff is when the stuff is initially presented or when you're first confronted with it. That's when you go "well, goddamn, look at this" (not ignoring) or "fuck that stuff" (ignoring). There's just no way in hell you can ignore something in advance or even come back and pretend to ignore it after the fact. The key to it is this: even when the past tense of the word "ignore" is used, its use refers back to the initial instant when the thing was ignored, whether that was two minutes ago or fifty years ago. And that's how ignore works in this goddamn world.
