Wingnutties out of control!

Generally an unmoderated forum for discussion of pretty much any topic. The focus however, is usually politics.

 Hilarious. ND state senator resigns one of his leadership positions after it was revealed that he sent 79 text messages to a guy who was in jail on child pornography charges. These people are the goddamn slime of the earth. They should all die and go to hell.

:D Repug ND state senator, of course.

Opps! I neglected to mention the guy is a proud member of the GQP cult of lies and ignorance. But at least he's retiring soon, which will give him more time to indulge in child porn. I'd be willing to bet that more than a few of those 79 text messages were something along the lines of "you've not mentioned my name to anyone about any of this, have you?"
He thought about your suggestion and decided, 'Why wait for a January retirement?'

An article about Twitter employees expressing dismay/fears in regards to Elon Musk's takeover of Twitter.

It's not the article I want to talk about, but the user comments.

There's a definite thirst for revenge from many commenters. Not just simple vengeance, but a very evident desire to see Twitter employees suffer. Much of the comments are really far out there and assume a ton. As if every Twitter employee is part of some conspiracy by the left.

Reading comments like these, most probably written by adults, makes you really wonder about the future.

I'll take your word for it about the commenters. I really don't want to see more paranoid right wing crap. Not today.

That said, sounds like the commenters are the ones who got banned or edited or reigned in. Also sounds like they are mostly right of center, maybe far-right.

I have an idea: just don't twitter. I don't, never have, and look how smart that's made me ;-)

I'm not surprised, but it speaks poorly for the society as a whole when willful ignorance is the dominant "thought" process.

Society is indeed fucked up, but this is a foxbusiness comment section. Extra fucked up is to be expected.

Understood, but there really are an awful lot of those people around, even if they're not foxbusiness commenters.

But it's Larry, Larry, Larry. The guy who assured everyone that the economy and the banks were all in great shape a few days before the Bush bubble exploded.
The only thing amazing about Larry, Larry, Larry is that he still has a job.

I was expecting some solid, reasoned analysis and deep insights into economics and morality and metaphysics. Was not expecting that from a fox news comments section.

I feel like some of the stuff they say makes sense. It gets me thinking.

Like when they say Biden is being played by actors like Jim Carrey and others because Trump is really still pulling the strings. And how Putin is fighting off the Marxist NWO. It just kinda makes sense you know?

I'll leave doing the research on these matters up to the YouTube and FB feed pros and just take it at face value.

Chemtrails too. Idk what but I'm sure chemtrails have something to do with it. Or is that too early 2000s? Yeah I guess it is. Let's go with 5G instead since that's in vogue right now.

Don't forget about all the bullets we've dodged.

Jade Helm and FEMA camps and the U.N. takeover are still lurking.

Re: Wingnut Randi the russian

Unread post by billy.pilgrim »

"They privatized most Russian government functions, producing a bumper crop of oligarchs who run or supply everything from Moscow’s infrastructure to their social welfare programs to their military. (We’re seeing the results of that experiment in Ukraine, with Russian soldiers wearing cardboard “bulletproof vests” so the oligarchs could skim off the profits.)

The simple reality is that Rand Paul’s beloved libertarianism can only be truly realized in an authoritarian oligarchy where average people lack the resources or political power to have a meaningful say in how the state is run.

Like Russia.

So it’s entirely possible — probable, even — that Rand Paul’s apparent love for Vladimir Putin is neither admiring nor romantic: it’s fraternal. Putin, running a semi-libertarian nation, is his brother.

I’m other words, Rand Paul mostly loves the Russianized libertarian version of the laissez-faire system.

And has, like his father, spent a career working to impose something like it on America."

Rand Paul should be given horse medicine and sent out to have his ass kicked by his neighbor again. Maybe even straighten his hair with an oak log.
