What are you watching?

Generally an unmoderated forum for discussion of pretty much any topic. The focus however, is usually politics.

First time ever, I think, that they've let any competition steps be skipped. Better than getting somebody drowned, though, I guess. Unless it was Mike.

True dat, on both counts. :D

Too bad they didn't run the challenge when the tide was lower and they at least keep their heads out of the water. It would have been entertaining to see them fight that swell without the drowning aspect.

With editing, it's hard to know, but I think they may have started it earlier but the two final teams were very slow. Jonathan was able to hold up the ladder by himself with water only a little over his waist. By the time the others got there, it was up to their necks.

Are you watching "Beyond the Edge" that comes on after "Survivor"? It's surprisingly better than I expected. Sort of like a "Celebrity Survivor" with some "Amazing Race" competitions thrown in. The former basketball player sometimes known as "Metta World Peace" is a major wimp. Literally afraid of the dark.

I watched about a half hour of the first episode, it didn't grab me. Seemed too staged.

I'll give it another shot.

It probably is more staged than "Survivor" and they do seem to provide numerous "diary room" opportunities for the participants to rehab their images or push their charities. But the competitions are brutal.

Once again, Useless sticks his fat ass into a conversation in order to tell us what he's not interested in, as if anyone cares. Childish and sad.

Awww. :violin: , Useless. So much for "Ignored". You fail again. Plus, Useless, you've been busted too many times for anyone to believe you're not reading my posts, anyhow. It's just your excuse for cowering. Awww.

Did you know that if you say "fuck you" backwards it's still fuck you, but with an Irish accent?

Bus drivers grab random people by the throat, just to make a scene, in order to not have to deal with Useless if he happens to wobble by.

Mike is getting an ok edit, it's making me nervous.

He could go far.

Speaking of edit, the whole woke thing is feeling a little forced.

If it's truly compelling great, otherwise leave it on the cutting room floor.

Agreed. But I really want Mike and Maryanne gone. They're like from ngernails on n a blackboard - if there's anybody who remembers what a blackboard is.
